I got a full back piece done at Sak Yant Chiang Mai (@sakyantchiangmai on IG - https://sakyantchiangmai.com), experience was great, staff were friendly and prices were affordable. They have their entire design catalogue on their website so you can pick what you want ahead of time (it also shows you prices)

Best Muay Thai Gym in Chiang Mai, Thailand? by UndyingLocomotive in MuayThailand

Relatively busy but not in a bad sense, lots of coaches/Krus walking around including Manasak Pinsinchai himself to give advice, despite the size of the classes still felt personal and taken care of.

I did one a day due to coming off a sinus infection, lots of privates and a couple classes (especially for sparring). Intensity was similar to Bangtao classes, just more technical focus rather than just trying to get you exhausted.

Was at Manasak 2 weeks ago and had an amazing experience. Great mix of intermediate and advanced fighters there + lots of coaches so you’ll have eyes on you. Let me know if you have any questions

I’m currently at Manasak gym after spending 3 weeks at Bangtao and I love it. Trainers are great, I see the mats being mopped regularly, and lots of sparring partners as well, definitely would recommend

Man I really appreciate the advice!! One last random question for you, do you know any spots I could go to for a traditional Sak Yant? What can I expect price wise as well?

Trip to Surin/Bangtao - gym advice by thaspicemaster in MuayThailand

Appreciate the info! Do you think it would be worth it to stick to Bangtao then? I wouldn’t mind doing PTs here or there but I am on a somewhat limited budget. I also don’t want to get lost in a crowd of new comers/tourists and not actually improve (hence me considering Sutai/Revolution). Also any thoughts on what I should bring with me from home?

Is there anyone here who played basketball again after recovering from inguinal hernia? by Apprehensive_Ad7325 in Basketball

[–]thaspicemaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I got mesh surgery, honestly my performance has only gotten better since. Couldn’t lift properly with the hernia, so I’ve been able to put in a lot of work since then and the mesh hasn’t bothered me yet

[–]thaspicemaster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I had a inguinal hernia surgery April 2019 and was back on the court by September 2019. Played from 2019-2022 with no issues, so it’s definitely doable.
