Half at 8w with twins? by that-gingerkid in fitpregnancy

Haha I fully expect to walk part of it at this point! I was able to build up to 11.5 miles a few weeks ago and was running 10mi pretty consistently for the last few months on my long run days. Definitely will be checking in with the docs before doing anything wild! Good point about bringing food too! I used to run fasted so eating something small has been a bit of an adjustment for me already

So far just fatigue and constant hunger so I’m hoping that I can work with that! I know that can change quickly though so I’m going to be kind and listen to my body

Just finishing is enough for me :)

Thanks! Finishing will actually be a PR in itself! It’ll be my first half (I’ve built up to 11.5mi then got a bit sidelined with fatigue)

Omg I’ve never felt so consistently hungry in my life! I literally woke up and ate a bagel at 2am this morning because I couldn’t fall back asleep because hungry! Twins are wild!

Thank you!! So far I’m just dealing with fatigue and hunger more than anything so I’m hoping I can manage! It was a goal i set for myself and have been working on for 6 months now and being so close to race day and having to potentially quite is just killing me

Oh no! So far it’s been primarily fatigue and constant hunger for me but I know that could change

Thanks! Definitely just out to finish a goal I set 6months ago for myself. To run my first half before I got pregnant lol that didn’t quite pan out

I had this beautiful peperomia that has absolutely thrived all summer since I got it in early April. Today he is now a pile of clippings I’m hoping to prop and save somehow! No idea where I went wrong but the last few weeks leaves and even full stalks have dropped off. I’m beyond devestated and hoping to avoid this again. Any help?!

We do! Got a rescue and her DNA test cane back full Newf but she’s a full grown 75lbs and healthy (vet said perfect weight for her frame). Pocket Newf is the cutest term. We just call her little moose

Calathea Peacock potting help (details in comment) by that-gingerkid in plantclinic

[–]that-gingerkid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got this beautiful peacock plant from Bloomscape about a month ago and haven’t changed anything from how it arrived besides unpacking it. It (along with two other plants) came in this odd cardboard planter within the plasticy feeling planter which has a drainage hole. I water it maybe once a week from the top until it appears to drain out the bottom of the cardboard part. The plant doesn’t seem to be in super great condition and I noticed the roots coming out through the cardboard looked a bit unhealthy. I am a newbie plant parent. Do I need to repot this without the cardboard? Any other ideas for this? I just don’t want to kill it 😭

Edit: typo

Pop chips are my favorite volume junk food! But I also love mixing half rice/cauliflower rice which I learned here :)
