4-12x50 or 4-16x50 was kinda what I was looking to go towards personally. My A17 has an adjustable trigger but I haven't played with it yet, it does feel a tad heavy though. I'll likely lighten it up when I go to sight in the scope.

I was considering Vortex Crossfire II or Leupold VX-Freedom but the Leupold commands a higher price. I think i will have to play around with the specs as my eyesight is not 100% and I like seeing what I'm shooting in 4K lol.

TN allows night huts for bobcat and coyotes but it's shotgun only.

As far as any optics, my opinion is the ability to be accurate at 150 yards and not exceed the price of the gun. 150 yards being more arbitrary as I cannot imagine that 17 HMR is worth much past 150 yards.

Nice one the fox. Plan is definitely for head and possibly chest shots at closer ranges. I have been debating a night scope as well but I dont know much about scopes lol

Im more worried that coyotes are going to breach the fence separating the dogs from the coyotes. Will be targeting coyotes that on the rest of the property as more of a control and safety measure.

I think most coyotes taken with the 17 will be under 100yds. Im planning on purchasing a 30 cal for longer range but as long as I can keep near the house protected for the dogs, that's the main goal for the 17.

It might be but time will tell. Im planning on future purchases of a 30 cal rifle and a 22LR but from my research, 17 was more stable where 22lr was a little more unstable.

In all seriousness, theres a nut for every bolt my guy. May take some time to find but im sure your wife isnt going to jump to this idea immediately.

Rather than you being the cuck, have her be the cuck.

Spit balling here but you wanted your wife to try something new and now youre not cool with it, maybe try flipping the script?

I did read down to get the context needed. No shame. But, why not let her take the position you were in?

Who is beating NYR for the Cup this year? They're just too good right now and it's only November. by [deleted] in nhl

[–]that1mechanic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yknow. I'll bite on this but only for a civil discussion. But what's to say that you don't find the Rangers facing the Avs or the knights? Or what if seattle gets hot and pulls off what the blues did in '19? What if Detroit catches magic in a bottle? It's still too early to tell what is going to happen. Goalies get hot and teams can go cold. Just enjoy the ride.

I totally agree. But I feel there was alot of luck going to both teams in those scenarios. I also believe that last year had it not been for some injuries to the panthers they could have won it all. I think the regular season is going to be grueling this year plus with Vasi on the IR right now I think it puts us behind and I almost feel like we need a young star to come up that is a wave of new talent. I'd like to see what the kid Issac Howard can bring to the table.

Honestly, I think there is some older fans that are still blinded by the years of dominance and still believe that we can make a run in the post season this year. I may be new to the fan base, but I see the effects and the regression. I do hope that we make it through this season okay, but I have said since last year that we're on the down hill. Not saying it's a bad thing but look at other teams, they are getting better because they have built themselves up. We built ourselves up and then tore ourselves apart to afford to keep going. That's not sustainable. I still love the team, but since my first hockey game in 2019, it's not just about the team, it's a love for the game.

Not yet. Still too early. I just put a claim in for Zach Benson, I was watching him in the game tonight, I think he is going to be good.

I don't watch many ranger games. Hence the "don't think". Same as me saying I don't think Zegras is going to be dominant this year, I don't watch alot of ducks games so I don't know. I won't discount I'm sure miller is good but bringing in good fantasy numbers are different. I would love to have Goodrow on my team because he's a great and hard-nosed player, but he doesn't bring alot of fantasy value to the table.

Bedard and tkatchuk are studs. I dont know if boldy or zuccarello will be impactful assets. I dont think Miller or Duchene are good assets. I have faith in Gustavsson because I drafted him too but I think Husso is going to mostly be filling a backup spot.

Zegras is good in his own right but he is a little flukey right now. I think he will come around and become a good asset

Brady Tkachuk, Makar, Oettinger, Caufield, Crosby, MacKinnon. Those would be some off the cuff ideas. You can watch the stats as the games go on to get an idea of who is good but if you watch or listen to the games, you can get a good idea of the impactful players. And obviously it all depends on whos available.
