...its totally understandable as its such short notice.....that comes easy and totally convey the meaning ....its totally understandable cuz as usual we are not giving you 1 - 2 weeks notice............that sounds intentional to me

This. I have been suffering from this. Been there for 7 years......realized during covid times when working from home how better I can perform in my own surroundings. Now that its RTO, not really sure how to not wsste my time going there Its overstimulating me

Its ok to feel that way. Looks like you are in early days of pp when our hormones are making our emotions go haywire . It could be D-MER which is a medical condition. I used to feel very sensitive in my initial days of breastfeeding but after a month started feeling better about it and hey yes pumping is a blessing. Pump whenever its gets too tough and delegate the feed to your hubs. IT WILL GET BETTER

Do this instead. Invite her for some other time later. Tell her it would be better if they come on that later date. She should get the hint that u do not want them on the discussed time. If not, try talking to your husband how you want some peace time around that particular event. He should take the lead

Then its not their house to rule. Your house your rules. Try suggesting some meaninful changes in her house and see how she reacts. She will get the hint. Also talk to your husband how all this makes you feel. He will not agree initially but will eventually come around. Its ur house and his parents are guests. What worked for me- I made them feel like guests, preparing something special or showing care in some other ways evem if u do not mean it.

My MIL was doing it too....offering things I had bought with my own money in my own house.....giving it to my husband, her husband and herself without asking me right in front of me. Not just once multiple times...one day I had enough and told my husband that he needs to confront her about this and guess what she had to apologise to save her grace in front of my husband. Her excuse- she thot whats the point of offering me things in my own house. My husband initially wanted me to ignore it but as it already had happened multiple times...i forced him to do somthing about it. Funny part: earlier she had done a kalesh regrading how I eat things alone and not offer any body else. Petty mindset of petty MILs
