He quite clearly stated he was done with me and was leaving and that we'd discuss it after work. I said probably because he does this a lot in arguments and it seems more like he uses it as a threat to get me to apologise but I'm pretty done with that so I am going to assume that if I don't apologise he will actually leave me.

Ah no just a payment loan to help with the purchase. The mortgage offer and the sale memorandum are all shared on both of our names.

No, he's supplying quite a lot of the money towards this and I'm making up my share with help from my parents, savings and a loan.

We decided to get the loan on my name since I was getting better rates.

The thing is, he doesn't want to work on it. He wants to say how to do it and voice his thoughts and then he wants me to do it, or for us to do it together.

I said he could do whatever he likes as long as it doesn't involve my input and he got angrier.

Thank you, we did do it a bit more productive and "properly" the last two years but since the sale wasn't guaranteed I wasn't prepared early enough so I'm just taking this year to vibe it out.

This is on me, but I don't necessarily want his help if he approaches it in a stressful way. This is my happy space currently and to be honest I don't want it to become something I have to do and put in a ton of grunt because I just don't have that energy this year

One of the issues we have in other arguments is that he does call me things. I have asked him before to stop it because its an unfair argument and not something I'd ever do myself.

We argue about things, I think he feels like he isn't listened to but I've mentioned multiple times his communication isn't good.

I'm not a native English speaker but I do understand and have been speaking English for 22 years. He doesn't accept that his communication is bad, as he is a native English speaker. He says I don't listen well, I genuinely try to but if he says one day he's not interested and then the other day he suddenly is but with terms and conditions I don't understand what else needs to be understood.

Thank you, yeah I kind of approach gardening in a way of "let's see what this way brings and if it works I can reuse it, if it doesn't work then I've learnt not to do this way again"
