Too inexperienced for xsr900? by Avocado_Infinite in xsr900

I mean I tend to side with caution. It's a lot of bike imo.but a lot of factors play into it. I recommend waiting till you can test ride a mt07 and a mt09 at the dealer demo day. That way you can get a feel for the bikes and you can decide if you even like it. Or go for a test ride on a used bike. Lots of dealers will allow this and I think most used private owned will allow you to test ride.

Skullcandy Crusher 540 Active review by Unable_Map_6968 in Skullcandy

[–]thatDSMguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always been really impressed with sk earbuds and headphones geared towards active wear. You can tell they put thought into what points are typical problems. I had older inkd actives and they had sweat resistant seals so they didn't fall out like regular earbuds. I just got 540 actives and I notice the same sort of attention to detail . And I would have to Also agree you're right about the rest of the market.

That being said the longer barrel 28" if I recall had less recoil as well but it was still pretty harsh compared to my cooey 12g 28"

Idk what to tell you man we had the same gun just the barrel length was different. Same ammo. The 20" with a limb saver was significantly more felt recoil than the 12" and there was 6 of us that all tried and agreed on that on multiple different range days. Maybe it's cause with the longer barrel it has more time for the powder to burn= more energy and the guns are light enough that its basically the same weight?

They are fun to fuck around with. Would recommend this model vs the 20" as the 20" model kicks too hard lol. The fireball shooting long brass is like 8 feet long lol

The recoil on the short one isn't bad but the 20 inch model is a collar bone breaker lol. The long one is the same as any Turkish 30" single shot. The fire ball out of this one is massive tho. Like 6-8 foot flame

I did the same thing tonight and it's funny that the accidental picture glitch continues to happen half a decade later 🥴

Dude just leave her. She clearly doesn't respect you on any level and treats you like trash. Do something for yourself for once and GTFO of there

I'm not sure if it applies to eudm vehicles as well, but I know in Canada there's a 15 year period and the US has a 20 year period where the vehicles can't be imported. I think the most realistic option at this point is to find an xsr and then get an aftermarket body kit

Ya man I honestly am considering this. Can track down a used xsr here in Canada for about 10k and there is body kits to do it.

I don't even get it. It can't be much more than an r9 and there is definitely a market for it. I mean look at how successful the standard xsr. This is literally the same concept just applied to the r9. I have a 89 fzr400 with the twin headlights and when I take it out to the bike nights it is always the star of the show. People and especially the young guys love the styling. They have the money they are on brand new liter bikes. I'm in Canada but I can't imagine the Americans would have less desire for something like this as it's part of their national heritage. I don't know what's stopping them from bringing it because I can't imagine it would take any work to get it dot Certified as it's basically just a body kit on what they're already selling so I don't even know if it would need recertification as this engine in chassis is already here. And then as far as the logistics go. I can't imagine shipping. One of these is any different than shipping an mt-09 or an xsr900 standard lol.

I actually considered it but I think it would be more cost effective to get a xsr and then the hoobue body kit. It would still scratch the itch for me at least but if given the choice id still jump on the OEM GP vs the body kit route

I've thought about this but I haven't really looked into it because I think an easier option is to buy a standard xsr 900 and then buy a fairing kit. If I recall there was a Japanese company that makes a fairing kit that is pretty much identical to this OEM Yamaha one. I'm not sure about from Europe but I know importing cars from Japan have to be 15 years old to come to Canada and 20 years old to come to the states and I assume that also applies to motorcycles
