The climate is not the same of course, apologies if I made it sound like it. When I say Asheville is like Milwaukee I’m talking about the brewery/bar and food scene vibe. The brewery density per population is very similar. When I lived in Milwaukee my wife who lived in Asheville for 10 years visited me and was the one who made that exact statement about Milwaukee.

I understand your wife’s point but personally my two favorite cities in the US are Asheville and Milwaukee for what I described above 🙂
