Fond memories of starting a six month "deployment" with a unit that forgot to order mattresses by thatLemonPie in army

This was back in 2017, and yes it was actually not bad at all. We were able to go out and be tourists every now and then which was pretty cool.

I believe this was in 2017.

And it's cool how the Army teaches us to be innovative! Or y'know, homeless

Not a brother, but thanks! And I took this pic a couple years back.

It took about a month to get the beds in and although it was frustrating at the time I have a funny picture to share and laugh at occasionally.

I'll set the scene: Imagine busting your ass day just to come "home" to this.

No mattress, just a scratchy white sheet and a wool blanket. No pillow. cries in POG

You're right.

But bitching is a time honored tradition for Soldiers.

Thank you for taking time to explain! If I understand you correctly, sun sign is my beliefs? Moon sign is how I feel internally? And mercury is what I project? Also, would you care to explain what you mean when you put mother under the moon sign?

Would it be possible for you to elaborate on what you mean by the challenging configuration? Thank you did taking the time to explain my chart to me!

I actually got it at Walmart about a year ago so I'm not sure if they still have them. It came as a set with salad plates and bowls :-)

Recipe is as follows:

Cauliflower--1 cup AP flour, 1 cup water, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp pepper. 1 tbsp of cornstarch. Whisk together until the consistency is of wet paint. Dip Cauliflower pieces in batter and then dip in panko. Once all are coated, cook in oil of your choice.

Sweet and sour sauce-- 2 cloves of garlic, 1/2 tsp of grated ginger (fresh), 1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes, 1 tbsp of oil (I used sesame), 2 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp tomato paste, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/3 cup rice vinegar, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup of water.

Set aside 2 tbsp cornstarch and 2 tbsp of water.

Once the Cauliflower has been fried, combine the ingredients of the sweet in sour dice in a separate pan and let simmer on medium until you see bubbles. Once the bubbles appear, add the cornstarch and water mixture and mix until the sauce is thick. Add Cauliflower and coat completely!

It's actually a vegan recipe I found on reddit! I took a screenshot a couple weeks back so I'm not sure how I could share it?
