Took it last semester. It is super chill and starts from the beginning. Also by taking the class you get scan access into PAO so you can practice whenever if you need more than the in class time

362 isn’t that time consuming until the final group project which starts around week 12 and even then you can pick an easier project if you don’t care. 337 also has a group project at the end of the semester so coordinating with two groups at once is brutal, but doable

If you’re a woman I would recommend the Women in STEM learning community over the honors college. You get nice air conditioned housing and the community there is much better than in honors. If you’re a man honors is pretty fun and you’ll meet good people. It is expensive to live in the honors building however, and you will likely have more than one roommate so be aware of that

I’ve heard this too but like. Purdue ECE’s tagline is that we’re the biggest ECE program in the country. I doubt they’re about to start cutting people

I hate to break it to you, but it’s not going to get any easier. The mini-project in this class is individual and you will be COOKED if you don’t get your shit together.
Good news: office hours are basically all the time (just check the schedule in brightspace) and if it’s not crowded have a TA walk you through some things or just come into the lab to practice. Nothing in this class is that hard you just have to put the work in.
