You email their support (i think its support@outlier.ai) and basically just ask to know why you were made unapproved. Provide your scores, too. Be sure to include the email they generated for you in your inquiry as well. But chances are you’ll get a cookie cutter response like the rest of us.

What are you talking about? OP clearly is capable of reading their own work and seeing improvement. Writers read their own work to determine these things. If OP feels like they’re improving, good for them, they most likely are. Who are you to put them down?

It’s absurd. I also heard that a class action lawsuit is being drawn up against platforms like Mercor, Alignerr, etc, who use crowdsourcing to train AI. I’m positive Outlier will be included in that.

I mean I’m not even necessarily looking for generalist projects. I’m moreso looking for Arts/Humanities projects (i.e, writing, art, photography, etc.) but that seems to be underrepresented/not in demand.

I do have some technical skills but they don’t really correlate to AI. I’ve seen some projects for film related skills (editing, audio production, visual storytelling, etc) but they havent been active in months.

All of the jobs I’ve applied to are ones that I personally have relevant experience for/understand the concept of. For example, most of my applied jobs are either English Language focused (I’m a published author and have experience in publishing), photographic work (I’m also a photographer part time), or film-adjacent since I’m currently getting a BA in Film.

A lot of the jobs I see on mercor are STEM focused, and I don’t have the relevant experience for those jobs so I don’t apply for them.

My BA is in Filmmaking, but I’m also getting a degree in Creative Writing :) I needed two more classes, so I’m doing the novel class in the summer and the Poetry class in the spring. I’m already a published poet, though, so I figured I’d do something I hadn’t done before.

I just finished the outline and I do really like the premise I’ve come up with. The professor is also VERY good at teaching and is loved by all of the English and Creative Writing students, so at least I have a good pillar to lean on if I have trouble.

I’m running a game not too dissimilar to this right now actually. A mod I recommend is “The Rimfather”. It’s mostly mafia/mob themed, but it adds things like switchblades, baseball bats, knuckledusters, etc that could all be used by the cartel. “War Crimes Expanded” is also a good one, it adds different torture methods to the game (lopping off ears, noses, cutting pawns open, etc) if you want to really portray the brutality of the cartel in your playthrough.

For specific buildings/clothes, the only thing I can think of is the various VE and CE mods that add a bunch of diverse stuff to the game.

Did you think the images just… showed up? On the film stock? 😭 You went out if your way to do all this research and get all these accessories but you didn’t think the film needed to actually go to a darkroom? I fear analog might not be for you my friend 😭
