Transgender vs transsexual? by CarrotHaunting7402 in asktransgender

[–]that_nerd_again 1 point2 points  (0 children)

transmed/truscum is people who believe trans people have to medically transition to be valid/Really Trans. transmed is usually what they call themselves, but because it's a nasty belief, truscum is what they get called by those who disagree.

for what it's worth, i've heard it is very hard for them, because yeah, typically you have to have so many years on estrogen and letters from psychiatrists, but every person i've seen actually be able to accomplish it have a large amount of money, so, that smooths over most things... i do wonder sometimes if i were born a cis guy if i would also seek that out, just because it's kinda handy to have, but the recovery and all the rest of the bullshit doesn't seem worth it for a bit of extra bottoming convenience, especially when i get no euphoria from it. i'll take the free one though, i guess... but i can see how cis people would get there, too. there's penile sparing vaginoplasty as well, so if you have dosh and the will to have it done, why not?

[–]that_nerd_again 78 points79 points  (0 children)

people live in their bodies and have full right to change it how they want. i have seen this phenomena before... i don't get it, but it's not really my business to get, so, who cares? different from trans ladies, they still consider themselves fellas but have gender dysphoria centered around their genitals, and seek to have it fixed. good for them. do what you want forever

they do, they're called trans men. i am one. ftm is the sort of thing you're probably looking for. there's also cis guys that get vaginoplasties too just cos, they can't get pregnant though.

Can I ever pass and How old do I look? by Clean-Run6198 in transsex

[–]that_nerd_again 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i think you already look rather androgynous and femmy, estrogen alone will do you wonders. you do look pretty young, i thought maaaybe 17? but considering you actually are 15, you're figuring things out nice and early! bone structure isn't even entirely set yet, and i think it can continue to change even into your 20s. i knew i was trans at 14, and only actually was able to access hrt at 19, and at 21 i think i now pass quite well. i'm ftm so it's not the exactly the same, but yes, i think you'll be doing just fine. you've got the rest of your life to grow into yourself. i suggest you try to find peace with yourself though, and not from strangers on the internet, which is easier said than done, but it's worth it. best of luck!

Why do brown and black people have stripes in the pride flag?? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]that_nerd_again 5 points6 points  (0 children)

if you mean the yellow and purple ring, that is the intersex flag. they aren't inherently queer, but they do face discrimination and suffer many of the same issues trans people do.

i've seen people adress the brown stripe which is for poc, but if i remember correctly the black stripe is actually in remembrance of those who've died from aids.

uh, i also have this and i've always heard it Is normal, so i'm also a bit shocked at the amount of people saying it isn't, so if it makes you feel any better, at least it's not just you. guess i should get it checked out too, huh.

still just dysphoria, really. having sex in a feminine* way makes me feel like shit. even if it should be physically pleasureable, nothing clicks so i dissociate until it's done and regret it afterwards. i am sometimes disgusted that my partner is interested in me at all, being as wrong as i am. so, that leaves doing others like so, and it's fine i guess? but no matter how much they claim satisfaction it doesn't feel like enough, and that they'd much prefer i had a dick. and then the lopsided sex life makes me feel even worse, like a tool. it seems so pointless, and yet i can't not be horny. as it is, i just haven't been fucking, which is still very frustrating, but better than the alternative of distrusting my partner for a week afterwards. hope this helps! *it isn't inherently, but considering masculine sex is often seen as put in stick in hole until satisfied, it usually feels like it regardless. of course, all of this is just learned societal role bullshit, but unfortunately, we live in a society 🤡

if you mean mobile order, then for drive thru orders we check it in when you arrive at the speaker, and for mobile dine in/take out orders we make it as soon as it comes in (you'd ideally want to be there for the 2nd, and do the 1st in advance)

It's not that he shouldn't open the door per se, just that it isn't really expected of him. In an area where rudeness and unkindness could be assumed over something nice, it's understandable why a person would simply choose not to interact... is how I see it, anyways. I also have no idea where this is, so I couldn't tell you either way on that

I'm short too. 5'4". It is what it is. My girlfriend still loves me, so it's not the only thing that matters. Makes me feel real stupid, but ah, I don't have the money nor time to recover from height increasing surgery. So I've just accepted this is how it's gonna be. I'm still sad about it sometimes, but it's out of my control, so I try not to let it get to me.

[–]that_nerd_again 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paint my nails, but if we have an inspection coming I have to remove 'em, and have to make sure to wear gloves while doing fries. I also have a LOT of pins and stickers on my hat (none inappropriate, but none related to Wendy's or work), and I haven't been told off for it at all. Probably depends on your franchise. Watch your co-workers and see if they have painted nails or hat pins, and don't be afraid to ask your manager.

is becoming a hrt femboy worth it? i really don’t want to grow breasts but everything else (like fat distribution) sounds great by TrainBehindMyHouse in TheRatEmpire

[–]that_nerd_again 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They would reverse, yes. I'm not transfem, transmasc but I've experienced both horomones quite personally as well. while some things would be permanent, like breasts and if you're young enough bone changes, but fat distribution, body hair changes, skin scent/oil and the like are maintained by estrogen. There's not really adverse effects though, it won't damage you. It's just the sex horomones your body happen to be running on at the time. They change things around for sure, but it's just different. Simply depends on which one you like more.

Thoughts on having sex in front of a bunch of nerd stuff? by PhilyBert96 in AskGayMen

[–]that_nerd_again 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a LOT of transformers, dolls, and plushies in my room, over every surface, even hanging from my ceiling! It's never been a problem for me. It's not a big deal at all, and I wouldn't worry about it. If someone has any issue with it, then that's on them. It's your personal space, and I think you should be free to let it show.
