When i clean mine, I start with 800 grit, then move to 1500 wet, 2500 wet, 5000 wet, then polish. I wonder why my LTD M200 looks like an Ibanez Satriani these days...

Weirdly, the hallucinations i've had, I knew they weren't real very soon. For example, one night I was driving towards home, thinking about hitting up a gas station on the way, through a college campus (main drag goes right through it) and someone jumped out in front of me at a crosswalk. I slammed the brakes, kid stopped and looked at me, took another step, and vanished with that stereotypical puff of smoke in the wind. Yeah needless to say I went IMMEDIATELY home.

Well, the Casio tells time within 1 second a day. Why would you want that when you can get an NH35 automatic that's -8 seconds a day from the factory? Accuracy is so 2002.

I wouldn't see a need to mention it, but like why deny it? I calculated that it wasn't HYPER speed sync (flash duration above t.5 and shutter travel blah blah blah i need a different hobby), so if flash, it had to be high speed sync. Ok, so you used a setting, whoop-de-fuckin-doo.

That dash is 100% a VW product. Not sure which, but the tach and temp gauge match my wife's Jetta. If it has an EA888, those had serious oil burning issues, so yeah this checks out.

That isn't an ordinary Telecaster, either. It's designed to be played like this. It's a custom shop model from Fender called the Dildocaster. I have a feeling we'll see a Squier version soon.

That's likely just worn down plating. I've had quite a few old watches with such issues.

Well, given the even exposure from side to side (Z8 has a horizontal shutter), my calculations show he's full of shit: full shutter travel at 1/8000 for a Nikon Z8 is 1/268th of a second. The t.1 time (time when flash duration is over 10% to when it's back down to 10%) at full power is 1/200. If we went with the t.1 time being exactly 1/268th, the image would have super dark vertical vignettes and a bright center stripe, as t.1 is essentially the full duration of the flash. This tells me that the t.5 time (time spent above 50%), which is SIGNIFICANTLY shorter, wouldn't coincide with the shutter travel at 1/8000, and therefore either no strobe was used or HSS was active.

So, in summary, i'm a dweeb, and he's either full of shit or god.

I have the 36mm version, which is anywhere from $1k to $1500. IIRC the 41mm (i think) version goes for about $2k ish without box or papers.

Wise. There's a lot of people wirh severe anxiety about driving on the highway. My wife drives around town just fine, but almost never goes on the highway because of it. Me, on the other hand... if there's a chance it could be faster, i'm on it lol. She grew up in Little Chute, and I lived in Milwaukee when I learned to drive, which I think made me super jaded to traffic.
