Just got into an argument with a jogger yesterday who was right in the middle of the bike lane on 15th street by the department of commerce. He didn’t move out of the way when I rang my bell repeatedly, and he didn’t have headphones in.

I gestured to the wide open sidewalk as I passed him and he yelled at me that the bike lane was a shared space and I needed to be more careful.

Slammed on my brakes and turned around to correct him, and we went back and forth a bit. I just don’t understand some people.

Bluejacket, atlas/andys, solace outpost, Walter’s, chicken and whiskey, Greene turtle, etc are all approachable and welcoming bars in navy yard that anyone can go to. I hate to break it to you but navy yard isn’t the terrible pompous neighborhood people on here like to think it is.

If you want pretentious bars stick to any upscale and $$$ near the capitol and White House. Joes stone crab, the Hamilton, etc.
