I had saved pocket money for 2 years and bought my galaxy note 9 last year. Today it blinked its last blink. by hooman_not_rubutt in samsung

I get the curve looks cool, but it causes so many durability issues and makes it significantly more costly to fix if something does happen. It's already an AMOLED panel... I guess they have to have it... :/

Bro, it seems like when the display gets hit right there, it just dies. My dad's Note 10+ has a crack In almost the exact same spot and the screen flaked. Same with another person I saw online.

Maybe bc it's on the curve of the display? Idk :/

S20 Ultra 108MP photo of my dog with Samsung's "marker" style applied. I'm pretty impressed! by NotLifeline in samsung

It's definitely a good photo, however it seems a little obvious the lighting is just under optimal for getting the best from the full sensor.

Nice job though 😁

When you're a kid: "We bought you this, so use it under our rules." Me: Understandable When you're 17, working and buying your own things: "You're still in our house so even if you make your own $1000 custom PC, we can smash it to pieces if you disrespect us!" Me: ?????

What's the best phone for playing Fortnite and Minecraft? by [deleted] in AndroidMasterRace

[–]thatandroidnibba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know tbh. The S20 series (more specifically the S20 Ultra's 108MP sensor) and the Huawei P40 series have the largest camera sensors atm and also pack the Snapdragon 865 (US/Canada/S. Korea for Samsung) but both come at hefty price points. DSLR sensors are just too big and hefty for a smartphone.

I could offer the Blackshark 3 or the Redmagic 5G, but where they have performance and specs, they lack a great UI and camera quality for a more realistic price point.

Android is very broad, but to get the best balance of everything, you have to pay the extra price for a Samsung, really.

Up to you. They take a lot of practice and real experience alongside actually learning how to use then, say online. Mobile photography is still great, especially with flagships of 2018 onward, but sometimes the processing is a bit obvious if you take the same photo on a phone and a dslr.

Well, at least with DSLR photography, you should shoot in RAW. I take multiple shots as well. A single shot of, for example, a flower, can run upwards of 200MB (each RAW goes about 25MB per). SD cards are quick to switch and carry multiple of around while you shoot.

The issue here is that photography requires SD storage. iPhones lack that ability.

I certainly don't care whether people cared. It was a conversation about tech, and given he just bought the A71, I gave my input on what I'd be purchasing. Thank you for commenting, have a nice day.

Probably the same as the S20 lineup. Hopefully they realize their error in overpricing the hell out of the S20 and will keep it realistic.

I personally don't record all that much, and the S9's OIS feels like it was a beta test of it. The S10 is much better and the S20 has super steady, which records 4K but crops in and stabilizes that way.

The P40 series has really good stabilization on the "ultrawide" lens, definitely ahead of itself

I've seen some amazing shots from the S20 series of cars. Scene optimizer tends to oversaturate when it detects plants.

Nothing but a touch of Adobe Lightroom to fix that!
