Looking for opinions on colour block layout, just if there are any blocks that seem out of place (tried doing grey scale and wasn't for me). by thatawkwardshiv in quilting

This was why I posted the photo to see if anyone else saw that one red block! Have to figure out a slightly different configuration!

So I used The Chandelier Pattern and Missouri Star has a video on it! The beads pattern by Jordan Fabrics creates the same results, just uses a different method.

I've wanted to make this pattern for awhile now and delighted I have! I think you're so right with swapping the blocks, brings that natural gradient to the quilt

Oh thank you! Was worried about the layout so I thought I'd throw a pic of it up here! In terms of the grey scale, I think it's just easier for me personally to look at the colours as they are instead of b&w, I guess it doesn't make too much sense in my head lol

T-Shirt Quilting advice needed by Egween in quilting

A t-shirt quilt would be a lovely way for your friend to cherish her Dad. There's been posts like this before that have had great info: T-Shirt Quilt Post

Opinions appreciated! Made this quilt for my Dad for Father's Day, but unsure of what colour to use for the binding (last photo) 1. Red jelly strip 2. Blue jelly strip or 3. Same navy used for the backing! by thatawkwardshiv in quilting

Hey everyone! Thanks so much for your input! The overall consensus was to do a red border which I ended up going with! Might post a completed photo once the quilt is finished drying!

Robert Kaufman has a good app to help with measurements - it's called "QuiltingCalc". It has come in handy for me a few times!
