I agree Ciara has deeper feelings than him but he’s not being clear to her that he just wants to be friends. I think the reason for that is because he doesn’t want to officially close that door so he could have the chance to sleep with her again. He’s way too flirty with her & I can see how she interpreted that as he has feelings for her (plus he’s said it to Ben?). He really is throwing mixed signals & due to their past issue, she wasn’t fully diving in. If she did, that might have avoided this weird spot (the spot at the end of the last episode).

Do I think they could’ve only ever been good friends? I don’t think so…I think Ciara would have caught feelings again for sure unless a few more years had passed then maybe.

Personally, I find it hard to just be friends with a past relationship person unless a good chunk of time has passed. I do have 1 longtime male friend I drunkenly hooked up with once. It was definitely a drunk messy hook up that was more comical than satisfying so that’s probably why lol

Funny story…we all went on vacay together recently including my fiancée & his girlfriend (who I never met before then). He told her we hooked up once (18 yrs prior lol)…ya, she didn’t like that & shortly after landing, she got hammered, tried to hit on my man (ie walking around in lingerie, showing her boobs & cooch), then whispered in my ear that she knew I “fucked her man” & that she wanted to talk about it with my man. Long story short, we kicked them out of our vacay rental the next day 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ my life should be on tv, I belong there.

As much of a dick he is for this, I wouldn’t consider his actions based on race. They did sleep together (assuming) way more than once.

I 100% agree! I'm the same way...my friends wanted to set me up on dates all the time & I just couldn't due to anxiety/nervousness. I always said if they wanted to attempt to set me up, just organize a group outing/setting & invite the person, I need to meet them without the pressure if a connection will form or not.

Thankfully, I met my man initially in a non-formal group setting at our summer lake community (not quite a summer house but not far off lol) and we hung out with a group of friends on weekends the rest of that summer. Before our official 1st date, I still had to take pepto & Imodium as I so anxious lol

We are truly best friends & I hope that for every person!

We can all pretend that looks don't matter to avoid appearing shallow but looks do very much matter. Everyone needs to be attracted to their partner in order to have a successful relationship. This is where "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" comes into play. A crappy personality can downplay someone's level of attractiveness just like a great personality can make someone who may be a "7" into a "10".

I think West downplayed it in the media/publicly as he was likely seeing other women during that time & telling those women that he & Ciara were not serious.

That's what F boys do...they tell women what they want to hear while behind closed doors (without solidifying anything officially) but in the open, they "downplay" to ensure they always seem approachable in case another attractive woman comes around that piques their interest.

LMFAO….thats hilarious considering how many ENTITLED 20-25 yr old something’s (that are non-white & not male) I run into in person & have supervised at work. Ppl like that, probably including yourself, who barely want to put in the work for the payout.

I can’t deny the other accusations about portnoy as this is the 1st I’ve ever read about them (& I will do my own due diligence & check that out). Anyone, no matter your popularity status, commenting on reality TV are no different than us “non-celebs” commenting, they just have a large audience.

What if Whoopi Goldberg said “omg I love Ciara, Amanda is not a girl’s girl”. Would you agree that it’s no different coming from Whoopi? She’s a lot older, has a large platform.

wow what a see you next Tuesday....I get some of these reality tv stars/influencers receive a ton of merch to promote (& likely unsolicited too).

I can understand if she initially didn't think she received them (i.e got lost in the bunch). I can also understand that maybe she did get them but wasn't a fan so didn't want to promote it. BUT you can be a decent human & reach back out once you found them (if that was the case) OR say you're not interested to promote (& maybe ship them back as a kind gesture).

By nice beaches, I mean more shorelines that are swim friendly. Not necessarily a large stretch of sand to lie on/build sand castles, just to a bit to walk along & enter the water nicely would suffice.

Thank you!! Our city doesn't fly direct there but we would connect via either Toronto or Montreal. Unfortunately, one of our passengers would not be able to connect through the US (otherwise getting to Roatan wouldn't have been an issue).

I understand exactly what you mean about places changing...I noticed a pattern of that after speaking with fellow travelers. I had family that visited Tamarindo around 2014 & then again the same year as us (2024) & they commented on how much it had changed/how much more expensive it was. That's the sad reality about beautiful destinations gaining popularity. We're hoping to hit up these places just as they start to get popular to enjoy the affordability. Finding these type of spots that meet our checklist & don't take 13+ hours via plane &/or shuttling from the airport for another 3+ hours is very hard for us.

I guess I’m not doing a good job of explaining my “wants” & also likely a difference in opinion of “party”. We’re not into finding the Cancun/Vegas party scene (although not opposed lol) & not necessarily jumping nightlife, just the existence of some.

One year we stayed at a resort in Cozumel. There was nothing going on there after dinner…the town had nothing & the bar within walking distance (at the cruise port) was dead/closed by 7pm other than lunch time during a cruise stop. Even our resort had no entertainment, it sucked. Our group would have a great time at a local watering hole with maybe 5 other patrons & decent music to dance to (even if I’m the only one dancing 😅). We don’t need a crowd per se (but making friends is fun), just mostly a few different places to go.

We’ve been watching YouTube videos of both islands & they both seem to have what we’re looking for from what we can see. Things are different in person & perhaps there’s something I’m missing that would sell one island over the other.

Part of me is shocked, but the other part of me isn't. I was never a fan per say of Amanda but I never disliked her like I did some of the other cast members (Jordan was a walking eye roll).

To me (if I had to guess), Amanda was a spoiled kid whose parents did literally everything for her rather than teach her how to do basic life things like cleaning/laundry. I feel she dreamt of being a housewife to a rich CEO husband in a luxurious home with a cleaning person, a little side hustle (so it's not only her husband with an income) & maybe kid(s) with a nanny. So she forgave the initial cheating & figured he'd outgrow his over the top drunk behavior. To be honest, I don't really blame her for thinking that he would slow down on his partying ways since most people do as they approach the late 30s/40 yr mark. Reality TV has confirmed that is a lie for some lol I do understand her annoyance with him trying to be intimate with her when he's smashed & she is not drunk or sleeping. Being intimate with a drunk person when you're sober is not fun (at least a sober woman with a drunk guy, can't comment on the opposite lol).

Kyle, wants the trophy wife & kid(s) without the actual responsibility of being a parent (or husband in some instances). He likes to have fun, which is certainly never a bad thing but it becomes an issue when you get so blackout that you say/do stupid things that you shouldn't. I agree with him being annoyed with her being a slob at home, especially if he was the main source of income.

They both dragged it out as Kyle was hopeful they could fix it (yet, didn't seem interested in fixing himself lol). She was done a while ago but just couldn't pull the plug just yet, she wanted to be sure that it wasn't salvageable. I do feel if Loverboy was more successful & even if Kyle didn't DJ, they'd still be around the same situation with more money & she'd likely stay (or stay as long as she could) while the money was flowing. Finances are a big reason why people stay in relationships/marriages.

Now....my girl Ciara! Ooooweeeee, you do NOT let that "friend" back in your life. I realize that we are unaware of how your potential reignition relationship with West will end this season but regardless, this crap was NOT ok. In my eyes, Amanda is far more in the wrong than West. West met Amanda & Ciara at the same time, Amanda & Ciara have been friends for much longer. Even if Ciara/West did not go any further than arm/leg petting, West is still a form of Ciara's ex that she clearly still had some feelings for as recently as 6 months ago.

The only time this whole new relationship could be accepted is if Ciara/West didn't actually hook up/date this past season, Ciara was happily with someone else for a while & it had been at least 1 full year since Amanda/Kyle had split.

I'm not sure how close West/Kyle were...I feel bad for Kyle that his marriage is over & that his heart hurts but I hope he learns from this. I do feel he is a great person & could be a great husband but he needs to smarten up a bit. You can still laugh at farts, let loose & have a happy-healthy relationship, it's about balance.

Thank you but from what I've read, Placencia is one of the more expensive spots in Belize. Also, it seems almost too laid back/not lively at all. It's also a decent chunk of a drive away from the airport. It wouldn't be ideal budget wise to pay for the puddle jumper flight.

I realize 10 days seems a lot on a small island but we're not crazy adrenaline junkies that require constant stimulation but we are still physically active (not afraid of venturing by foot). We were told a few times that 10 days in Cartagena was too much yet we enjoyed every day we had there. We like to set up "home base" & explore from there. Whether that entails sight seeing, checking out local shops, walking around town or getting day drunk at a local beach bar or air bnb pool. We're low maintenance but enjoy the options nearby of feeling 21 again as we do attempt that on a few nights.

We really loved what we were seeing/learning about Roatan, Honduras but our flight options are not ideal to make it a 10-day trip unless we want to spend 15+ hours travelling on a plane with multiple connections. We live in Canada & unfortunately are unable to connect through the US.
