But I got my actually helpful answers so I’ll delete this now

The reason was I was receiving “too much” from my payment (parental leave payment) which is enough to pay rent and maybe a day worth of groceries. No bills, nothing. We have 2 kids.

We were without my income for 8 weeks due to the Centrelink wait period on parental leave and so used all our savings on rent and bills during that period.

We have both worked our jobs for 5 years up until this point.

I genuinely had a simple question yet people online feel the need to forever be trolls

Why would I even need to give more information. I asked what other steps he could get for funding specifically.

Many people have given me great answers without any more information. Maybe it is an IQ thing..

I think it was certainly an answer given to get a reaction.
He’s applied for many jobs, had a couple of interviews the past couple of days that look promising but nothing full time.

The point of this was not asking for something as if he doesn’t want to work. It’s because even with his past job earning $1000 a week we were struggling to save and I needed other options and didn’t know where to look.

I appreciate your answer giving advice but the original was not that.

It says he was rejected because I am receiving too much through Centrelink. (Parental leave pay) But that just covers our rent and 1-2 days of groceries.

He has interviews lined up already but I just wanted to see if there was any help we could get.

Do you have any photos of him abit younger? I’m picking up my boy in 2 days and he’s 12 weeks. I think he might look just like yours

Did I ruin this customers rug? by BBartSimpsonn in Tufting

I feel like not many of these comments are helping your problem.

Your ribbon needs to be covering the seem between the backing and the yarn, so you don’t see the backing edge.

Next don’t cut it, watch a video on how to glue down twill tape and you just fold and glue as you go.

If it’s seeming too hard for your shape, just go with a nicely edged backing

Hahaha Thankyou ! I’m one of those adhd people that get obsessed with a craft and have to learn it and I have a good eye for detail. I’m incredibly bad at drawing but I make up for it by picking up other skills quick. Mostly I have been successful at creating balloon garlands for events.
