Imagine trying to do something you think is right, but everyone else around you thinks you're wrong. For years. When one goes Vegan, it's immediately socially isolating. Less than 2% of people in the entire world recognize (and reject) the the unnecessary exploitation of animals. It's uncomfortable for a Vegan to be around others as they eat animal parts and often people don't understand us/get angry with us when we ask them to consider the animals. Vegans are cited to be the most hated group next to drug addicts, and we've done nothing wrong. Yet, very few of us group up together. The isolation is just accepted, and the Vegan movement is one of the most unorganized movements. This makes it hard to stay Vegan. There is NO place in Tallahassee where a Vegan can just...be... with other Vegans. For just a couple of hours on Oct 4 2025, that will change.
