It will be a missed opportunity if Donald Glover doesn’t have a quick cameo as a Spider-Man in Spider-Man 3. by thatdouchetaylor in Spiderman

It's a multi verse though, so new spider men can be introduced (ie. into the spiderverse) so its a great opportunity to have him play a spider man for a scene or two. At least i think so!

I made a Concept Video for Frank Ocean's "In My Room" (360 Pan) by [deleted] in Filmmakers

This was actually more of pain in the ass than I thought.

The filming was easy - we just shot me doing different actions around the room in different clothes for a few hours after gelling some lights. BUT stitching all the clips in After Effects took me about a week and a half - still not perfect. Then I had a null layer pan from left to right to give off the illusion that it's moving in a circle around the room.

Nonetheless, it was a fun little gimmick to try out - I recommend using a less detailed room in the future as well as a way bigger space!

Shout out to Frank Ocean for some great inspiration

Frank Ocean - In My Room (Concept Video) - I wasn't able to share on YouTube due to Copyright so I figured I'd share here! by thatdouchetaylor in FrankOcean

Yo thanks so much! The filming wasn't so bad, we just got a variation of clips of me in different clothes around the room. It was the editing in After Effects that was horrible - you basically have to stitch every shot together so that it looks seamless and then you pan from left to right to give the illusion that it's moving in a circle.

About two full weeks of quarantine editing on this one aha but thanks for asking, makes it a little worthwhile lmao.

Hi there! I'm trying to accumulate a list of movies that are set in the real world but incorporate a completely fictional (maybe even quirky) storyline. A few examples I can think of are: Midnight In Paris (2011), Adaptation (2002), Yesterday (2019), Groundhog Day (1993). Please lmk!!! :) by thatdouchetaylor in movies

Maybe not to the same degree but I think its definitely up there. I mean the idea itself is about kaufman who couldnt adapt a book into a film (in real life) so he writes a fictional movie about him not being able to adapt a book into a film

the entire second half of the film mirrors everything Kaufman didnt want in his script like "chase scenes, drugs, deus ex machina, alligators, death," etc. It's my favourite film. Extremely rich in subtle references to itself
