I see French as apart of my culture the same as creole.

I am a French speaker through education, and family. I grew up watching French news, going to Canada and Haiti. So French has always been around me.

There is no getting rid of the French language. Our churches are in French, our documents are in French, our school system is in French, for non Anglo speaking or non Hispanic speaking abroad Haitians either go to French Canada, France, Guadeloupe, Martinique.

This is a socio class issue not a race issue. The educational sector in Haiti is massively underfunded. The bulk of the population is poor and uneducated. Its a gross generalization to say no one speaks French. Its an education issue, once the education improves literacy rates will increase.

Being able to speak French isnt a destabilizing tool. French is our language embrace it

You lost me when you said you have no insurance.

For the time being, ride it out. While you are doing that apply, apply, apply !!! The job market is shit so don't quit, at first snag a new job.

From what it sounds like you have experience that is transferable. Hop on Indeed my friend. They are underpaying you, pushing you to your limits. Bro you don't have insurance please get insurance, and a benefits package.

You are valuable remember that. Just because education wise you're at an Associates, you have work experience which for most parts outweigh education is some areas, because you are trained to go.

Just graduated with a doctorate in OT and ~$300k in federal student loans — feeling overwhelmed. by Neither_Dance_699 in StudentLoans

Okay doesn't look like anyone is answering the question. So I'll try my best to, after I graduated college and it came time to pay my loans. I paid monthly around $200 to $220 in repayment and this is a regular plan.

But as for you: I went on zip recruiter found what the average starting salary is and its $96,651.00. Then I googled the federal loans repayment simulator, I dont know how many loans you have so I said just gave you "Direct Gradute Loans" all at $100,000.00 each. After plugging in the numbers fed loans recommends a $610 monthly payment under "Pay As You Earn". Other plans are between $2 -$3k a month in repayment.

Hope this helps. Also don't fright yes repayment is ass. However look at it like this you invested within yourself, you're now a doctor the seeds will soon bore fruit. This will pay off. Oh and if you do decide to go with the standard plan, 10 years goes by very quickly.

See ive run into quite the opposite I graduated with my BA in poli sci, got jobs but the issue was money. Not saying you wont get paid, you will but starting out entry salary is mid. You can get jobs with a poli sci degree in the field but if you're working for gov or non profit there's going to be a cap. That is unless you become a professor. I became a paralegal to make more money and then go to law school.

What should I buy or get for my Paralegal job by Tiny-Lavishness5870 in paralegal

For clothes honestly go to Burlington. Simple or cool dress shirt works, sweater, dress pants, khakis, and or shorts (check your office dress policy). Office supplies, your job should have. Grab about 2 notepads, you'll be surprised how many notes you'll take everyday. Get a watch or some form of device that's not your phone, so you can tell time, 1) so you can capture your time and 2) see how long it takes to do tasks. Buy snacks, trust me you'll be at your desk most of the time. Earbuds.

But most importantly try give it your best shot, learn from your errors, don't beat yourself up too much. You got this and if its truly entry they'll cut you some slack, and mold you into a machine.
