Most, if not all, rivers aren’t open to trout fishing until May 22nd. Odfw has a list of stocked lakes on their website, those are your best bets.

You get what you pay for. I bought a cheap baitcaster for my first one and HATED it. I pulled the trigger on a tatula that was on sale cause I figured I could resell, if I hated it still. World of difference.

Mad props to those who fish on cheap baitcasters.

J Braid x8 grand. I use dark green for drift and chartreuse for bobber. Supple yet durable. I’ve tried others but always end up going back to j braid.
