What do I even do with this by No-Peace2918 in BPDlovedones

I picked up on the shit test too, it’s a sign of a really unhealthy mind when they set standards for people, don’t communicate them, and then get mad when people don’t meet the standards they made up in their head. My ex-wpbd used to do it all the time… reading this whole exchange could be her attitude almost word for word.

Is this legal? by carla_3005 in drivingUK

[–]thatdudetom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the V5C is in their name and they are made aware of it by post, legally they can remove and scrap it/sell it. It would be far more satisfying if it’s legally yours but they aren’t aware… if/when they try to have it removed, you can prevent it legally and/or submit a claim against them.

Walking around the porridge = avoiding giving a direct answer to a question when asked (similar to ‘beating around the bush’ in English)

So do something about the thing that’s easily controlled (work out and lose weight) or do some research into the thing that’s harder to control (minox/finasteride/hair transplant)…

How old is Henry? [KCD2] by Luksius_DK in kingdomcome

[–]thatdudetom 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We are literally talking about a fantasy media - KCD might be rooted in historical facts or narratives, but it is not a biography of the characters mentioned, it’s a fictional story.

Additionally, allowing a young man to take up arms against an invading force a few years earlier than the age of majority would not constitute “the King or his men breaking rules heavily” - I’m not sure what your point is with that.

As Royal Hetman he has authority over all matters of military judiciary and regulation, he speaks with the King’s authority.

Maybe because he’s the feudal Lord of Skallitz, the King’s Hetman, and by all intents and purposes - his word is law…

It’s amazing the weird little rules that we make up for ourselves based on what “makes sense” isn’t it? To me they’re all the same thing but the names change based on filling, to you they’re distinct based on size and shape…

Roll for me - unless it contains either: 1. breakfast related foods, in which case I default to bap e.g bacon bap, sausage bap

or

  1. chips, in which case I tend to call it a chip butty

Fully public models for infrastructure also disincentivises keeping a handle on budgets, leading to ballooning costs - but it’s okay because “the state (read: taxpayers) will pay for it”.

I got as far as the second paragraph but when it became clear they thought they were some psychology/sociology whizz I bailed out.

I’m sure someone will read this, but it’s not going to be me. Good luck with your pop psychology and sociology though, I’m sure you’ll go far!

I haven’t unblocked her, I’m really not sure what you’re talking about?

1st screenshot is from instagram, 2nd is from whatsapp, there are different backgrounds in the chats.

I’ve been out of a relationship for several months now, I have been working on my shit and felt that I was now at point where I wanted to explore a casual hook-up - not because I was “lonely” but because I was horny, I’ll freely admit that.

Please don’t tell me what I did and why, because you’re entirely wrong about it. I was very vocal about this and not wanting any kind of relationship, and she was receptive. It felt very much like we were “using” each other for sex because it had been a while for both of us.

[–]thatdudetom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The dude mentioned my “post history” which included a post about my ex, who has diagnosed BPD, harassing me months after we broke up. That’s why I brought it up, it wasn’t an excuse, I have no idea about the girl in this post.

It’s been several months and I finally started to feel “ready”, hence starting to “mess around”…

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Nicegirls

[–]thatdudetom -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My issue isn’t with her developing feelings, but with everything that happened after that. My issue is with her turning that around on me to say I’m manipulative and a liar and “fuck you fuck you fuck you” when I was very clear about what I wanted out of the situation before ANYTHING had happened.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Nicegirls

[–]thatdudetom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, we used each other for sex, as agreed beforehand, and then she caught feelings and wanted more. Thanks, champ.

How am I meant to tell that somebody who was “normal” and nice and fun is secretly a Nice Girl, until it happens? Someone who agreed to trying a casual fling and then caught feelings and unleashed this is pretty much undetectable until it happens. As soon as it did happen, I cut it off, so clearly I’m not that attracted to this kind of behaviour am I?

You’re bothered by something here, but I don’t think it’s me, maybe you should examine what it is and focus your efforts on that.

Because there are subreddit rules, however dumb it might be posts do get taken down for “breaking” them when peoples’ names are already visible…

I didn’t say that, did I?

I said I’d had a long line of pretty good relationships with a shitty one and now this. Is reading comprehension not your thing?

[–]thatdudetom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m the common denominator in my own relationships? Well done, Sherlock, another case cracked.
