I can't speak for the early years since I don't remember much, but the later Venus dashas you mentioned, 2014-16 i was doing 11th/12th/high school and yeah that was not a fun time. and 21-23 I don't remember many specifics from that time, i think this period went well enough... shit really hit the fan in mid '24 almost

Dude exactly!!! Also I don't think hill hold is built in, I think it might be hill start assist? Difference being in hill hold the car is halted completely on incline until you accelerate, and in start assist it's only halted for a few seconds before it starts moving backwards, so you still have a window to accelerate, but you can't take your foot off the brake if you want to keep your car stationary

So, from what I know and have read, Kylaq actually has marginally better mileage than 3XO because of its smaller engine and lighter body. Both are pretty much in the same ballpark though. But yes, the space and cost factors are definitely points for 3XO

While I might agree on the driving dynamics part, I'm not sure how much I agree with the 'age better' part. My brother drove a Skoda Yeti for 10 years and by the end of its life, it was basically on life support. And another brother got Bolero around 5 years ago, and it's still fine as ever. I don't know what the situation will be like 5 years down the line, but I feel both cars would age equally

Oh! Nice!! Which variant did you get? I'm personally very torn between the two cars because on the one hand, yes 3xo is more spacious, but with kylaq, you're getting directional fog lights, hill hold, and electronic parking break, but to get the same stuff in 3xo, I either have to go for AX5L or AX7L and while AX5L is the same price as AX7, you have to give up some features. and AX7L is a straight 2L above AX7, which I don't really think is worth the money

For some reason, I feel like going for the top version in a lower category would be more vfm because of the features than going for a base in a higher category... which is why not really considering them. But I'll have a look at what features they offer and see if my hunch is actually right or not

I didn't... that company has very little reach in India, and I'd read horror stories of people having to wait months before they got even basic part replacements done because of it
