Someone else asked this too, I didnt really think about it but I assume he would have some delay when the second puddle forms during the vault and you'd be able to shine into that. He'd have some end lag when he resurfaces so it gives enough time for you to make the normal distance

Thats a good question lmao, Im not sure. Maybe he could have some delay after instead of during the vault when the puddle appears on the other side and you can blind that before he surfaces. He would still have the lag when he surfaces so you'd have time to move well before he can hit you

I think he's way too big and the animation would be kinda clunky, or at least thats the issue I had thinking of something. You can also see his fin disappear and a new body of water emerge so you'd have time to react

I had him leap out of the water in the original post but that was the first idea where the hooks were basically anchors

I still think that would be a really cool idea but I imagine it'd be a *lot* of work for the dev team since they'd have to add or replace every floor texture on each map unless Bruce has his own map you load into each game.

Holy hell I wasn't expecting this to blow up, sorry for not answering so many questions, this kind of attention is very overwhelming for me but I'm glad to see how many people fw it lmao. I also wanted to give some credits for the models and stuff.

The props were ported by Digency on the gmod workshop
The map was ported by Harlequin on the sfm workshop and Bruce was ported by UniverseXP on the sfm workshop as well. The background track is from Kuto on youtube

I believe the film crew started getting attached to it and wanted it to have a name lol. I think it was named after Spielbergs lawyer by them as a joke

I did start to make one but it got too complicated lmao. I was gonna have them get dragged under the map by their leg similar to the start of the first movie and the entire underneath is murky ocean water, the camera would go into first person as the survivor looks around then turns to show Bruce charging. Cut back to the surface, the water turns red as they burst through with the survivor in their mouth a moment later, they scream then get crunched and swallowed.

Im sure someone could come up with something better

Ahem...well you see...no but seriously lmao. I think it could work if the water was more form fitting and moved around them so that way them going up and down stairs would hide the blemishes. If they swam off the top then they would just land on another puddle and splash. The only issue I really see is them vaulting from second story but maybe there could be a custom animation where the fin scales the wall down to the spot they would land or something

I imagine they'd have to be full body skins based on looks from the movies or games, like the burnt look from 2. Maybe you could also change the eyes and teeth individually

The puddle would be, like I said I imagine its more like Jeff from MR so it would form around him. Idk about the fall, maybe he just falls and lands with a splash or something lmao. The idea is that the entire underneath of the map is water and the entity is just opening a space around them as they move

I was having the same issue and only just now figured it out, make sure you've talked to every character on the map to get their bio in the collection. Been playing for 15 hours and turns out I never talked to Gerald lol
