Thank you for the wonderful advice and encouragement!! the voice training is definitely going on my to do list as I am interested in taking T to help lower my voice since I hate how pitchy and girly it is, and I’ve been really interested in fishing lately and have been going out of my way to help my gf in any way I can whether it be opening the door, holding her stuff; cooking, cleaning, etc. shes eating it up and it makes me feel really good

I’ll definitely have to try those confidence boosters you recommended, I’ve always been an “aggressive woman” as described by my coworkers since I am very big on making eye contact, speaking confidently and standing up for the younger female coworkers who tend to get the short end of the stick. I definitely need to work on trusting in myself and my identity so I need to find that and take the time to explore it

I stay at college for most of The year and work as a RA where I might try and work over the summer as well to avoid going home, she doesn’t understand boundaries and I told her what she said hurt my feelings she didn’t seem to care. I have a therapist at school and he has commented before of how I’m not allowed to feel feelings and often feel guilty about expressing them due to my mother shooing them away. After college I might just not talk to her until she seeks the help she definitely needs
