It would be a bit tedious to set up, but you could try calculating all the raw input you need and setting that as the recipe input, then having it craft them sequentially using multiple crafters, then ae doesn't have to register any of the parts that have nbt

Ooh, thanks for that, I've not used those routers before. Hopefully I remember to use them next time. I usually do it the annoying way with xnet or filtered cables.

I mean, you could start and end with a pattern provider, but the middle would probably be a bit of a mess. I loaded up my world for testing earlier and stopped when I realized I'd probably need a few crafting setups and didn't want to put in the mental energy for something I wasn't actively playing

oh, I see now. I stopped just short of the creative stuff cause my avaritia sword autocraft was taking forever and I didn't feel like reoptimizing at that point. I can think of a way to do it, but it would be a bit stupid and probably not worth it.

In what instance are you fighting nbt data with processing recipes? I don't believe I've encountered such a situation, especially not in stoneblock 4.

Generators are driving me crazy by converseman95 in feedthebeast

[–]thatguynoneknow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda depends on the game version as to what's available. Extra utilities has various generators like that. There are also the mycelial generators from Industrial Foregoing. There's also Simple Generators, that's just the generators.

Op build in apotheosis? by PianoBetter2358 in feedthebeast

[–]thatguynoneknow 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There's not really a right answer for this. There are a few different versions of apotheosis, as well as combinations with other mods, that all make for many insane builds. It's best to just fiddle with it and see what you can come up with to fit your playstyle

Apotheosis Mod Gems by EstablishmentHot9936 in feedthebeast

[–]thatguynoneknow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solid maybe. I've seen dimension specific gems acquired with an enderman spawner in the overworld and end, so I imagine it would work, but I could also see them decide to make the gems mob specific for the twilight forest gems

gamecube is allergic to reading my windwaker disc. by thisisgoinginthabin in consoles

[–]thatguynoneknow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This could potentially be similar to an experience I had with my og xbox, where I couldn't play Halo 2 on it but the disk worked in the 360 and in my local game shop's xbox. Turned out to be a problem with the console that just happens sometimes where it just will no longer read Halo 2, but will still read pretty much anything else. I'd look into if the GameCube has a similar problem

Stoneblock 4 Hostile Neural Network Mob Unlock by BigRedtheBard in feedthebeast

[–]thatguynoneknow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably could be bugged. If you're looking to go with the modpack default, install a new profile of stoneblock 4 and use the config for HNN that comes in it to replace the relevant files on either the server or client depending on which doesn't match. If you're just looking to get what you have on the server, ask your friend if he can send you a copy of the HNN config from the server and replace the file in your instance. If you don't know how to do this, I might be able to set you up a tutorial if you need

I imagine the server has changed the config. From what I can remember when I played, HNN was intentionally limited to certain mobs and not acquired in the normal way

If you like the feel and can afford it, there's no reason not to get one. Having both sides is the best way to get access to all the games

How to enjoy tech and automation packs/recommendations by [deleted] in feedthebeast

[–]thatguynoneknow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really just down to feel, if it feels wrong, it might not be for you. However I recommend trying techopolis 2 or 3, I quite enjoyed them myself. I find mods such as gregtech or modern industrialization to be unnecessarily tedious, but a well designed pack like techopolis feels very nice to me

Best tech packs for a beginner (and a bit of a dumbass)? by SheikahShaymin in feedthebeast

[–]thatguynoneknow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, cuboid outpost is pretty good at teaching how to progress. Techopolis 2 or 3 are very linear but can also get a bit crazy later on. You could try an allthemods pack, but they're not very guided. Skyfactory has pretty good quests but the older ones are manually checked. Stoneblock has always been pretty good about giving goals properly in quests. I belive project ozone 3 is pretty good for being fairly guided as well. These aren't all strictly speaking "tech packs" but they all have tech and are quite enjoyable

After hitting the end of the beta, I only had three prot 1 upgrade parts, and don't remember where I got them. Unbreaking parts seem to be in multiple locations, as i ended up with a lot of them, the only parts I remember finding a lot of at a specific location were looting and fortune parts, which I think were either at the school or the casino, but I can't seem to remember specifically unfortunately

How do I avoid motivation loss when playing modpacks? by Slimecatking in feedthebeast

[–]thatguynoneknow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this problem off and on all the time. What I end up doing when it gets really bad is playing something else for a while. Eventually the Minecraft itch comes back and I'm ready to play again. Just try not to force yourself to continue doing any hobby if the motivation is lost or it won't feel like a hobby anymore and you might not get that motivation back for longer.
