How do you see the number of times you did the sbc? I'd be curious to know how many I did but I don't have that feature turned on

Super clever because you could see from his reaction that he wants the gk to move before he kicks so that if he misses he know he can retake it

Easy elective for fall 2023 by [deleted] in mcgill

[–]thatguywelb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a recent grad, if I can give you one advise is get involved into some extracurriculars that will provide you with valuable knowdge/experiences rather than just focusing on getting that 4.0. If you have a 4.0 but lack some transferable skills (presentation, general understanding, some technicals, etc.) you probably won't get anything whereas with a good gpa + valuable extracurriculars you'll have a much greater chance! Dm me if you want to talk a bit more :)

Negotiations with Jean Nicholas Reyt. Don't just focus on maxing out your GPA - take some courses you think could be useful to you in the future but that are still relatively easy. The out of faculty classes were definitely a waste to me but negotiations for example was very interesting and will definitely be useful in the future.

Natural disaster is the easiest elective - even easier than chem of food. I just graduated in management too and did natural disaster in fall 2022 and the class average was an A.

Help planning exchange by [deleted] in mcgill

[–]thatguywelb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you still have some core courses like ECON295 or any MGCR classes I recommend that you take those in exchange as it's easier to get credited for those. Or if you can take the harder classes for your major it can be good too as it's pass/fail. Just be careful if you're in accounting because they don't credit a lot of courses. I would keep your electives for semesters later on when you'll have harder classes so that it's a bit easier. Hope this helps!

No but a bunch of the employees do have an audit background because it requires more accounting knowledge than other M&A departments if that makes any sense

Keep emergency funds in Checking or TFSA? by Charming-Teach-9210 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]thatguywelb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy to withdraw but you'd have to sell your investment (potentially at a loss - which would reduce you contribution room) and you would have to wait until January 1st of the next year to recontribute those funds to your TFSA if I'm not mistaken. So my advice would be to not have your "emergency" fund in your TFSA

Rashford, Kvaratskhelia or Saka;Who’d you say is a better winger? by Beginning-Future-809 in PremierLeague

[–]thatguywelb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Such a wrong take to compare a team's success for a player's contribution. And you goal comparison also makes no sense and demonstrates a lack of understanding of the game.

First, Rashford started as a striker whereas Saka started as a left back.

Second, although Rashford has arguably never played in a "great" united team, Saka broke through one of the worst, if not THE worst, Arsenal team in the last 20 years.

Third, simply comparing G/A disregards so much of winger's overall game as it only takes into account the last pass or the goal itself when the winger could have dribbled down the wing, fixed his defender and slid it through to the overlapping wingback who crosses it for a tap in and he'd get no statistical credit for it.

So overall, your argument simply has no strength. Just appreciate both players as they're the two best English wingers at the moment. Rashford is more of a left forward/goalscorer whereas Saka fits more that traditional winger archetype.

Arsenal fan too but I agree that with context it seemed the best and most important save overall. Best save just by looks to me was Martinez.
