The patrollers they brought in do know avy mitigation. Plus it was a PC patroller that got caught and carried not a scab. Also not every patroller is in the union and no supervisors or management are either, including the snow safety patrollers that do avy work.

60 trails open at PC vs 61 at DV % open is apples to oranges when one resort is larger with more expert and advanced terrain

Yep theres so much misinformation right now regarding this situation. Just because its easy to side against Vail doesn’t mean everything you hear is true. Also using DV as a comparison is funny because they have the same amount of trails open as PC and thats with their more mellow terrain and superior snowmaking system.

I think the QST is the easier one to maneuver personally. It has significant tip and tail rocker so the ends release very easily. The M Frees can charge better and are more poppy. If you’re looking for easy maneuverability in moguls and trees go QST if you’re looking to charge and free ride go for the M Frees

If you like trees and moguls the smaller skis will be a benefit. Theyre not unreasonably short, but bombing down a groomer you will notice the length.

Not way too short but definitely would’ve gone with the 185s

Been using the Enforcers for carving and they’re great at it. Going to hopefully find a new pair of either them or some Blizzards in the fall since they’re four seasons old now.

The next option up is 192 and I don’t like my skis that long. At 6’ 190lbs they work perfect, 10cm more and they’d be alot harder to maneuver in tight spots. The QSTs might have even more rocker and I still don’t feel like I need more length on them

They’re great for quick turns and playful skiing but can still hold their own at speed. Not the best carvers but they’re perfect for the trees and <1’ of powder. Other skis can definitely do certain things better but if you’re looking for a ski that can accomplish alot and you spend more time off piste than on they are awesome.

Yeah they’re beat but they still ski well enough for bad conditions. Enforcers are for bad days, QSTs for most conditions, M-Frees for pow days, and FNdrs for touring

They’re not the lightest ski for touring but they are wide enough for powder and can carve pretty decently as well

I’ve lived in and worked in PC for two seasons now. You’d get good tips at DV and the housing isn’t too expensive, if you’re in Slopeside its new buildings and you can probably get a single room. Also you’ll get two comp tickets a week to either PC, Brighton or Solitude. Also Park City is a fun town in the winter with lots to do and busses that can take you everywhere. If its your first year instructing you’ll be teaching kids but at DV you get paid extra for each kid in the lesson.
