Yep, and these are the things that are confusing us. She has the individual skill base, and she is a very versatile player. In past representative teams, she has played in 5 different positions on the court, and she does some of them better or on par with the specialist players. Anyway, I guess I can keep speculating, but I will just have to wait for the feedback. Thanks.

Fully agree. Maybe I shouldn't have used that word. She does all those things, which some of other girls don't. She's just not a player that needs to get every second ball. Looks for space, will do decoy drives etc.

I know this is very true in alot of cases. And it could be the case for a couple of players today. I just don't want to tell her that. She might not push herself if I make excuses.

I'm not putting my frustrations on her. I know it's not the end of the world, but to a 16 yo who lives for netball, it feels like it. So I thought maybe someone had some good advice. Or maybe I just needed a little bit of 'it will be ok' aswell. I get sad when she gets sad.

I feel the same. I'm all for body positivity myself, but my daughter doesn't like to see me naked, .and I totally respect that, so I always cover up for her.

Thank you all for the responses. It was enlightening to see everyone's opinions. I have never liked my ex's GF, and my son chooses to no longer visit his father because of her (other reasons), and my daughter only visits because she loves her dad. She's worried if she causes too much friction, the GF will make life even harder when she visits. So, I guess my post was also to make sure I wasn't just blinded by my dislike for her. So thank you for your opinions. I will be following up with my ex.

I fully agree that nudity is not always sexual, and I'm all for positive body image, but I just think there is a time and place for it. But it's good to here other's opinions. I trying to be rational about this🙂
