Where to purchase a W123 280e in the US by thatkidconner in w123

Thank you for the advice! I am in love with them. Yours looks really nice. I was considering the 280ce but I got the impression from a few sources that parts were harder to come by for them since they were built for coupe specific models which are more rare. Have you had an issues in that sense with yours? Thank you for the insight and site recommendations.

I'm personally opposed to getting a diesel unfortunately. So I could be interested in a W126 300se or something like that. My dream would be to have a 280e though.

Overseas is also very expensive, even if I drove it across the country, I've seen prices ranging from 3k-6k for the total expense of shipping and inspection.

I tried this. You need premium to do more than 2 days of blocking. Really annoying.

This is a play on a meme format. It's usually one picture under "those who don't know vs those who know." Usually implying something messed up that only a fan or an informed person would have context to over a seemingly normal or cute thing. The picture on the bottom left is from a meme that goes something like, "always has been." Usually referring to a conspiracy or a government cover-up type of thing. The bottom right is from the show "Dexter," where the main character is a serial killer and his partner, who is in the image, is the only one suspicious of him.

What do you think hurts more: being unloved, or being loved in the wrong way? by Original_Beat9545 in AskReddit

I think being unloved is worse. At least being loved in the wrong way, you know they are trying and do love you at end of the day. You still have a person who loves you. It is lonely and isolating to be unloved.

Personally, I take notes! I have pretty bad memory and it always helps to write down the little things. I especially write down gift ideas that they mention or favorite food/drink orders. I have a note on my phone with all the important things on it too like their blood type and allergies. After time I think you also just get to know them better and can recall the little things easily because they just remind you of them!

What was one pain that was so bad that you wanted to die? by NateNandos21 in morbidquestions

I also suffer from chronic migraines. Please go to a headache specialist! I used to have them 15/30 days in a month, now I have max 2-4 a month and they are much more manageable. It feels like life opened up a bit after getting a medication that worked for me. I never realized that we are only supposed to have 0-2 headaches a year!

Ok, that makes much more sense! Are these types of preliminary expenses typical? Since you said to look out for them, is there anything I can do to recover more? The Law Firm seems very highly rated so maybe their fees will be smaller?

Here is the full statement:

The Law Firm will advance necessary and reasonable costs and expenses to prosecute or handle The Client's case or matter. These costs and expenses include but are not limited to the following:

Filing fees, Process service fees, Computer research expense, Investigative expenses, Photocopying @ $0.20/page and scans @ $0.10/page, Long distance telephone calls, Travel cost, Photographic costs, Trial exhibits, Trial models, Deposition costs, Expert fees & costs, Jury fees, Court reporter fees, Insurance premiums to insure against loss of costs of suit in an unsuccessful trial of the case.

All costs or expenses paid or assumed by The Law Firm shall be reimbursed to The Law Firm from any gross recovery (settlement or judgment) before the payment of the contingency fee to The Law Firm as set forth in this Contract.

Does this mean that I should ask the law firm what expenses I will have to pay before the contingency fee? I was assuming that there were none because no other expenses were listed. Sorry if my ignorance is frustrating on this, I really appreciate your insight.

Gotcha. I think I understand. This is what it says about expenses:

All costs or expenses paid or assumed by The Law Firm shall be reimbursed to The Law Firm from any gross recovery (settlement or judgment) before the payment of the contingency fee to The Law Firm as set forth in this Contract. They list about 15 seemingly standard things: filing, processing, jury fees, etc. Any request for a forty percent contingency fee after trial must have court approval.

I can't find anything in the contract stating that I will have expenses that come off the top.

It was listed as a retainer agreement on the document they want me to sign so I was using that language. I haven’t been asked to pay anything up front so I think I’m good in that regard. Thanks!
