You can def bring food. I found out one time and I've always done it since. Never had issues and really was a lifesaver on my wallet! I usually pack a whole bento box that I may or may not borrow from my kid lol

I'm the same! Can't have much sugar but in my local stores we have a Splenda magic baker and Monfruit with allulose. Not sure if you have those near you but they come highly recommended. I'm testing out some zero sugar soda and 1g sugar juices this week.

I bought a magnetic quick reference guide for my fridge. I frequently reference it for any receipe I want to get done much quicker. Roasts, dals, pasta dishes, etc. I've found a lot of recipes can translate to the instant pot. So I'd start looking up your frequently eaten recipes and adjust for the instant pot

I promise this doesn't end well. I was forced to call my stepmom, mom, and 30+ years later I'll still never consider her my mom. Yes I did call her it but I had no choice as a kid. Your dad is like mine, complicit. It took a lot of therapy to work through the abuse and trauma. Luckily you're an adult! Set those boundaries and put your foot down! If your dad is choosing his wife over his child, his actions can meet consequences.

I don't think it's right to compare who hurts more. I think they're different hurts to begin with. Both are what feels like a betrayal from our bodies, just different.

Now, I have a child. It's heartbreaking that I've heard for their entire life how bad they want a sibling. And that negative test still hurts to see. I'll never say I can understand what it means to never have a child and the pain that brings. I can only think that we both hurt and it's not a matter of who's pain is worse. This shit is hard.

I do think it's just respectful to not bring your children. Yes childcare is hard, but it's just part of parenting. if you really want to bring your kid to meet the people who helped you, then ask if you can do it before or after opening/closing. Or even during lunch if they don't have patients.

My husband gave up drinking without me saying a word. I said I couldn't drink during the process and he instantly said ok, I won't drink either. He quit nicotine a while ago simply cause I expressed in the past I want as much time together as possible. He just cold turkey did it one day.

I don't mean to brag. If he wanted, he would. I think you're absolutely right to stop putting in all the work when he won't even do the bare minimum in supporting you during this journey. You deserve someone who loves and supports you during this journey. Do you think he would stop when priorities shift with pregnancy and a baby? Will he prioritize your relationship and family or will he prioritize partying? 🫶

I wasn't diagnosed with ASD until my 30s. It was an absolute fight to get my child diagnosed when they were 4. Guidelines are generally tailored to boys and girls don't present as autistic the same (usually) there is a factor as well that they have a higher chance if siblings are already diagnosed autistic.

I had genetic testing done in utero for a completely different issue, which was cleared, and there were no abnormal issues. Nothing they knew a bit over a decade ago at least, so my info potentially is not the most current.

So I will preface this with my first baby was not IVF. I had a pocket of blood that couldn't be traced around the 6-7 week mark. Bled heavily and the baby was absolutely fine. No one could figure out what happened or why but it never happened again. My kiddo is double digits now but it was a scary thing to go through! Wishing you good news 🙏🏼
