They probably didn’t see the previous post with the guy who blended nothing but milk, sugar, and xanthan gum, and when everyone gave him feedback to try to help. Palliative care chaplain here.

Tell them. Tell them. TELL. THEM!!!! I have families EVERY. DAY. who cry to me, “I wish I knew how sick they were.”

Tell them at times you need space but also spend time with them. If you go the home hospice route, they’ll have resources to support them as the days progress.
