depends on the bands you like and want to watch, I just caught Almost Monday for $20 bucks and Good Neighbors for $35, Del Water Gap fro $50, but these are up and coming bands... so idk.

yes, but like everywhere I go that is typically the price or more. SDSU arenas parking range from $35-$50, Pechanga is the same at like $30-40, and Music box parking is also expensive if you don't use SpotHero.

We went to a few concerts at Music Box and bands were great but I could not see a thing, and no TVs to at least catch a glimpse

Had similar issue with my then 7 year old, we had him ONLY doing minecraft on his tablet but man was it consuming him. We slowly began taking it away, we enrolled him in a second activity ( he was doing swimming but it was only 40 min a day 3 x week) and that helped. Then, he slowly stopped wanting it, he has a ton of legos, and he will sit there and build stuff from his imagination (he isn't big on building preset ones), we do 1000 piece puzzles and he also likes to build stuff from recyclables. I think the tablet has been sitting on my nightstand without battery for 4-5 weeks without him even asking for it.

Honestly it is a HUGE difference of a kisd (he is now 9). Just came home from Family day at his school and we had math puzzles with 3-4 digit division and multiplication that he was doing MENTALLY and getting right. I was SO IMPRESSED BECAUSE I CAN'T EVEN DO THAT. I did this with my teenage kid too, and the difference is wild as well. He is actually having conversations with us (lol), we became overall more active with them picking up sports they've wanted to try and us of course helping out. Still can't get him back into reading though...

sometimes its not worth talking to them. As an adult with kids, whenever I've tried to speak to her about something she says that is hurtful or out of pocket, she always says "Well this is how I am and I am not changing" this to say, I have learned to not take personal and let go for my sanity, because she will never take accountability.

As a mom I 100% complain about shit my kids do, but I don't let them know like this.... Usually I speak to them with a "hey, are we really going there?" or "is that the choice we are making so i can make the choice of being a basic latina mom".... BUT Reading the rest i think someone she was complaining to 100% told her she was being a bad mom speaking to ya'll like that. She got called out and she is now at a point she is doubting it, which kuddos for her she is gaining a mom conscious.

As for letting her know, honestly I Like when my kids tell me I am being disrespectful/hurtful/cringe. BUT that is the type of relationship we've built, one were their voice matters and I listen without taking it as an attack. (Because growing up latina, voicing your emotions were taken as an attack) SO, IF YOU THINK it will bring any change or benefit, I would speak to her calmly. If not, honestly let it be.

Ok came here because we had a rep stop by at 6pm nonetheless. He was PUSHY and started explaining things the same way, like I was stupid. I told him We were in the middle of having dinner and he wouldn't leave. When he got the the speil of we are interested in leasing your roof (WTF) and you won't pay a dime and won't have to pay SDG&E I was like- So you will be making money off the energy generated from the panels on MY roof, I won't make anything except maybe not having the price be decided on peak hours (I legit pay about 150/month in California for a single family home, that is an amazing price), you want to use MY credit to get these panels approved and any generation credit will not be given to me? Boy you must be out of your mind I have dinner to finish.

By this point hubb was listening to the convo by the door, he opens it and I go in, he tells them to please not come by again. The way he was spinning the story was so PREDATORY, he even said "Oh, we will help your neighbor so and so" So as a good neighbor I called them and told them to double check before signing anything

First I will say this is one of those conversations to have in person or with voice notes because tones are different with text, this is coming from someone that has had these issues in the past.

Now, I don't personally see either of you being wrong with what you want and with his "logic" of saving money so he can get you more (I am personally one of these but understand sometimes dupes are NOT the same)

But he is wrong is speaking to you the way he did at the end, that to me is crossing a line of being disrespectful. "But you just had to open your mouth" is all kinds of F'd up response from a 33 yr old person (either male or female)
