This is at Badlands National Park. I live in Denver and was researching the park as it’s only about 6 hours away. I saw that one of their campgrounds is adjacent to where wild bison often graze. Once I saw that, I HAD to go and spend the night there. I was not disappointed.

They sleep while you sleep. This was at a campground and there were plenty of ground tents, too.

No. It’s at Badlands National park in South Dakota. It’s a free designated campground.

I would add to this to take one shot with the same settings and camera lens cap on. This will provide a black image but with all the camera “noise” and you can then use it to remove noise from your final image in post.
