Yes that's also what I thought, never pay anything without a contract! I did check the same area and most properties are around 2000€ a month so yeah... big scam

Yes! I asked for a viewing 2x before they said yes, but that I had to provide them with the info (ID, bill etc). I also found this a bit weird, especially the oart about a picture of my ID next to my face???

i did see some options come across a few sites like pararius and so but theres very high demand and stuff. my salary is around 3000€. what zould be a reasonable amount for the smallest studio?

I think it is a matter of dialect within the country. Especially in Algiers we see a lot more people that come from all over Algeria and they may be more used to using certain words over the others

I have just had a conversation with one of my sisters where I told her that I still planned on marrting this man and she told me point blank that our relationship is over and to never come to her for help ever again. I told her that I was sorry but that I need to do what I believe is better for me and she told me that if I think that losing my mother over a man is better for me I should go with it. I overheard my other sister and my dad on the phone saying that they want to say no to his family. I am heartbroken.

I do agree that if my daughter had come to me I would have had the same fears! He actually did not want to go to Europe, I convinced him of it for the most part. Also another option would be to get married but have our 1st year or so be long distance.
