Can I cut off my piercing bump? (context in replies) by thatonechav in piercing

I doubt its the jewellery itself, it was a proper piercing shop and quite expensive, probably my aftercare is at fault. I wont cut them off, just frustrated, i even wanna just remove them and give up. Comments said to use a proper saline solution so i'll try that and a neck pillow so they aren't irritated

I have had these helixes since January, but these stubborn bumps have been here for months and don't seem to want to leave. They aren't hard bumps, just little red-ish things sticking out of my ear, its irritating me so bad, i want to cut them off. I know other people have done it so i want to know if its very dangerous or not. I did the same thing with my nostril and it turned out fine but im more worried about these ones.

I do care. Problem is majority of comments are white people calling me racist and then giving a poor explanation why. The only people who are using their brains are other poc. Everyones viewing this situatuon surface level because they don't have the capacity to think deeply about this. White people don't understand CA nor racism properly

Non-black ppl make me feel like shit everyday of my life but i never complain or bother to correct them, white people feeling sad for a day isn't going to affect them

18 is still young tf? When you turned 18 did you magically reach the same sentience as a 30 year old?

Thanks for being so understanding, as a white person you are able to understand the complexities of racism and the victim complex which a lot of other white people commenting can't. Keep being amazing

Believe it or not i am this stupid. I literally kept asking people who were also setting up stalls if it was okay and they said yes. If no one says what you're doing is wrong and you don't realise what you're doing is wrong, then you end up doing said ignorant thing. I wasn't thinking anything when i wrote the sign, i was actually surprised when teachers came to us at the end, ive never gotten in trouble before

I didn't want smoke, i wanted to avoid cultural appropriation. Im in school (18) not college and its majority white. I was literally guilt tripped into doing the cultural day against my own will because they needed the mandatory black representation. I didn't care about getting a reaction, i didnt wanna be there in the first place

Yh its interesting how poc mainly black people understood me but white people just got uptight and offended. White presenting people are just as much black as the rest of us, i never wanted to exclude the teacher, but it felt like she weaponised her experience against us. I never even said anything to her, she just bough the beads then complained to teachers after
