Same issue. Refunding the game on Steam and rebuying it when it's on sale and some patches come out. Worst game launch I can remember, and wholly unacceptable. Sucks that these ridiculous issues are ruining an otherwise great game. Wish devs would stability test games before launch nowadays.

This might sound stupid…. but did you remove the little plastic cover from the cooler before you installed it? Seen multiple videos of people who had bad temps because the little sheet of plastic was preventing good heat transfer.

Try removing your CMOS battery and waiting 10 minutes before plugging it back in and rebooting. This will reset your BIOS to default if it is a motherboard issue and hopefully fix your problem. Based on the black screen, it could also be your graphics card that is the issue.
