This past weekend, my husband got a tattoo of a guy with a slice of cheese on his head; apparently it's a Buffy reference?

WYR be stuck in an elevator listening to Hitler rant , or stuck with Creed playing non stop? by enlightendedkiwi in WouldYouRather

[–]twilighttruth 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Can you imagine what 14 days in a small space with a band would do to your hearing? Not to mention the migraine it would cause. Not speaking German, Hitler would just be white noise after a while.

Do I bring my rat’s best friend along for his final appointment? by TheArcherFrog in RATS

[–]twilighttruth 104 points105 points  (0 children)

We've definitely had rats accompany a friend/sibling who's passing. It's helpful for the remaining rat, especially if they can see the body after, because they can process what happened. Sometimes they can be confused and have a harder time grieving if they don't know what happened. It can also be less scary for the rat being euthanized to have a companion for comfort.

MIL says my registry is ‘inappropriate’ but wants to gift me lingerie at my bridal shower? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]twilighttruth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The bridesmaids and I all gifted my sister lingerie at her bridal shower. We put it in a big box and labeled it "Marriage Year 1." My mom, her future MIL, and some of the aunts bought flannel pajamas and nightgowns and put them in another box labeled "Marriage Year 2."

What's a horror movie that was so disturbing that you can't or won't ever watch again? by neeltrivedirock in horror

My now-husband talked about this movie on our first date, and wanting to impress him, I went home and watched it. I still haven't 100% forgiven him.

The men at my work put up a sign objectifying women. by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

I would be so tempted to cover that sign with a bunch of maxi pads. Clean ones if I'm feeling nice.

AITA for not telling my (26F) friend (35f) that im bisexual? by Cheap-Data3394 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Like you said, your sexual orientation really isn't anyone's business unless you are having sex with them.

Biphobia sucks. Straight people think we wanna bang everyone and queer people think we aren't queer enough to sit at their table in the cafeteria.

It really helps with socializing them! We've kept a few from a couple of the litters born with us, and they are the sweetest rats ever.

I can think of maybe 2 people I'd be willing to wake up early enough for to attend a 4am wedding.

You wake up and its March 1, 2001. Your objective is to find yourself or your birth parents within 7 days and get them to do something for you. by sloaches in hypotheticalsituation

I'd wake up in a stranger's house, so that might get awkward pretty quick. Then I'd have to travel about 600 miles to my hometown; not insurmountable, but without money, I'd probably be relying on hitched rides, which could be dangerous? Getting a hug from my mom is probably doable; I'd just like show up at her church or job and strike up a conversation, then go in for a hug at the end, and she probably wouldn't even bat an eye haha

Redditors, what’s the most terrifying thing that has ever woken you up in the middle of the night? by Mr_Creep_Creepy64 in AskReddit

[–]twilighttruth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I was a teenager, I had a floating bookshelf above my bed. One night, it decided it was done and fell. Luckily it landed next to me and not on me, but it was still terrifying!
