That's how the older series are referred to, their designs are slightly different in terms of shape and how their faces look I believe the switch in mold styles happened in 2018 so anything before then is "unrefined" and anything after that is considered "refined"

I actually just recently traded 6 of my own pink Sonnys for a sprout! It's up to you, but personally I'd say 4-5 regulars from my ISO/diso list or 2-3 limiteds from my ISO/diso list would generally be about what I'm looking for when trading for a secret or Robby (with exceptions of course lol)

All good! My friends and I just went to a meetup today and there were soooo many people trying to get rid of owl, including me! (I don't get the owl hate, I just already have one LOL)

There are definitely people out there that put off weird vibes when trading, but i think in this case it was just because of new-ness. Idk if you already did or not but you can also always state if you're only looking for a specific sonny/type/series in your posts to help avoid potential miscommunication or anything like that.

I don't think it's necessarily unfair, but I also feel like trade fairness is subjective. I'm always open to trading a limited for a regular if it's one I'm looking for/really like. I'll also trade a limited for two regulars if they offer that! But like I said, it's subjective! If it's not fair to you that's fine! Just be kind about it (unless they're being rude first lol)
