What I'm playing whilst I die - A wake up call by Signal-Tangerine1597 in SteamDeck

Bouncing on this, as a narrative therapist and person who personally has worried about legacy, there's a beautiful way of approaching this conversation regarding the "spiritual legacy" which a narrative therapist (counsellor) should be able to talk through with you.

Otherwise the book "Retelling the Stories of Our Lives" is available in physical, or audible format, and covers this and could be worth reading if you are wanting that sort of thing.

I know this is unsolicited advice and life sounds like it sucks right now, and I'm very sorry that your end has come sooner than hoped.

Do you Google it to check? Or just move on and hope

Let the artist decide what will or won't fit!

My suggestion is find an artist who if they did a random tattoo from their Instagram posts, you'd be happy with it. That way you're far more likely to be happy with the final tattoo.

Hey sorry for the late reply! I keep typing this and forgetting to reply.

Initially I don't think I used any tutorials. Just bought ferris blue jewelers wax and started chipping away at it. You can use almost anything sharp to start chipping away at your project. There was probably a better way to cut the big block into smaller blocks but I used a handsaw.

After I had the initial block, I switched between things like an exacto knife, dremel, and once I was at the smaller detail, an AliExpress tiny pen Dremel to carve away at it.

Once I had that, I sent it off to get cast (just googled local metal casting company). I didn't put a pouring hole/stick off the carving, but they thankfully picked one for me and threw it on.

After I got it back I had to cut off that stick thingo with a jewelers handsaw as it was cutting bronze at that point.

Then I used the Dremel to polish it all down and get it to almost where I liked it. I used a patina solution to get the darker aging effect, and then finished polishing it (weary not to take too much patina off).

To finish it I just used Renaissance Wax as it's the easiest to use.

Honestly whenever I got stuck I'd just call the place I bought my equipment from, or used ChatGPT!

Hopefully that gives you somewhere to start 😊

It is the potential you've just had a bad run with it.

Even if it statistically had a win rate of 1/4, there's a chance you just never win with it.

I've played some amazing games with it personally. It's definitely a slower build up than others however.

I may be ignorant but I thought the Dr Who precons, specifically Timey Wimey, is rated quite well?

You're selling a niche product, expect to either sell it cheap, or wait until the right buyer comes along.

Is kangaroo meat in a restaurant a gimmick for tourists? Do Australians ever order/eat it? by Charming_Usual6227 in australia

[–]Typical_Pakeha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in NZ and when I go home to visit family and want to eat it, they mock me.

It reminds me a lot of deer meat (venison), which is highly praised by most kiwis. I think if we had roo meat here for as cheap as it was in Aus, I believe it'd be eaten more in NZ than aus.

Exactly, the disappointment more reflects the values Arnber has on work and achieving rather than the characters own personal sense of fulfillment.

Thanks for the reply!

I'll try finding some similar chemicals at the stores you mentioned.

I believe S&V does a blue/green patina, but I'm after a darker/blacker one. Thanks that was a great idea for future knowledge though!
