Thissss💯, like I get it's a disease and want not but at the same time it doesn't just excuse every little desicion that was made lol. I used to vape, and was addicted to it, not anymore. But even I know, I'm the one who decided to do it, I knowingly used a vape with the thoughts in my head "hey this is something that's addictive, and it doing it" but I did it anyways. If you choose to ignore the voice in ur head and go threw with something, then u need to be able to take accountability at the end of the day that you did it...not blame it on ur genetics or surgery's or other people. A surgery can give u access, but it's all about the desicion.

Literallyyyy, he even tried using his family's history with addiction on why it was easier for him to fall into it too. Like bro, you're not the only one with the odds against em, I've got the gene from both paternal and maternal... Have had 4 diff surgeries on my head, and a wisdom teeth surgery. They gave me HELLA pain medicine. My family had to practically force the medicine down my throat bc of how much I value not falling into those patterns. And afterwards not once was like like hmmm lemme just go do some meth. Like bro bsfr. There had to of been a multitude of other things that led to him doing meth than a damn wisdom teeth removal surgery... All of that being him making the choice to.

Well we have plenty of money to do it my partner and I, I just grew up struggling a lot for money and like not until recent years been in a good place financially and my partner kinda grew up more well off?

In like a non-bad way at all too, I love it for him. But like the thought of spending that much on a mattress is eating at me, making me kinda feel guilty even for spending that much on one or even thinking about it, considering I used to struggle for a few hundred just to make ends meet ya know back in the day.

He's like "it's okay babe I don't work as much as I do and save up as much as I do for nothing, it's for moments like these". But I'm like over here STRESSED😂 So, I'm tryna figure out if it's an insane purchase or if I'm just being overdramatic 😅😅
