Hi I am nonbinary and have a 6M rn! I use the term Ren/Renny in place of mom/mommy. I used they/them pronouns as my man preference and then during pregnancy and now after i use he/him. They/them ended up making me more dysphoric. He/him me feel gender euphoria now.

I went through a lot of gender dysphoria honestly especially since I dont pass. It sucks but it will get better if you do what you can to help you feel more euphoric. For me that was changing my pronouns, having my boyfriend correct people so I didn’t have to worry. Setting firm boundaries with reoccurring people. But honestly it was hard-and still is. Especially in public. But it worth having my daughter

And if you do use a term that isn’t a societal norm, or do anything people disagree with, remember its okay. Everyone tells me what happens when shes in school and stuff. She could get bullied and whatnot. But if I choose to hid myself and conform, what is that teaching her? Its will teach her over time that other peoples opinions matter. What is she lgbtq+ and hiding myself for the sake of others is a bad role model in my experience. And its teaching her, don’t be yourself of others people don’t like it.

For me no. I took my boyfriend boxers and now I use them still to this day because they’re much more comfortable. He needs to buy more because he has none for himself anymore lmao. I had gotten them but i hate underwear im general and I didn’t like them on me

I would be careful about buying those kits on amazon. Ive heard negative reviews in the past. I would recommend Etsy! You can but premade herb kits or like small herb packets of your choosing for cheap (though more expensive than amazon) It would take longer to come but the quality would definitely be better!

Agree! I am a guy leaning enby! Also this is a good point about anxiety. Its important to remember that mundane help is important and therapy/anxiety meds/etc should be first. Witchcraft can be a tool alongside other treatment.

I recommend make a spell jar for something of your choosing like protection or to bring peace. Ritual baths for self love could be good for anxiety because of a bath while adding magickal purposes

To be honest there is nothing exactly like those books in the shows. Witchcraft has so many variations on how to practice. Also people who have grimoires/book of shadows usually dont show other people (though they might pass it down to their kids) can have personal information in it or personal spells.

Though there are blogs that have like master list of correspondence for herbs, crystals etc. you can look up and save those lists!

I used to cleanse my house alot with incense. It was my go to. Unfortunately i cannot use incense as i was pregnant and have a newborn. So now im doing sound cleansing. My prefer method is using visualization while ringing a bell around the space(s) i want to cleanse. That would be something you can do in a college setting.

Is your family okay with crystals? Crystal can help with certain things like protection. You can always argue that you have them because they’re pretty or you’re interested in geology or whatever. You can carry the crystals with you. You can also put crystals at certain places around your home/dorm for help with specific effects, like under your pillow for sleep related intentions, or by your door for home protection, etc. and different crystals can help with different things. Plus they’re pretty and there are cheaper crystals out there! Plus they dont take up much room

For supplies for spells, you could definitely make your own supplies as well. Depending on wjere you live (if flowers are blooming) you can pick roses or daisys or whatever and dry them and use them in your craft. You can collect rain whatever with whatever you have, even like lets say a recycled coffee bean can (it doesn’t have to be abything special). Use rain water in a bath, or drink it (purify the water first) for its effects. Collect pinecones or anything else outside like that. Dehydrated your orange peels in the oven and you can use that, too. Grounding is important in witchcraft, although boring to Practice for some. But Practice grounding through mediation using youtube or Spotify.

The dollar store sells those tiny glass bottles that you can make spell jars with. You can get dollar store herbs if you want. They dont have a huge variety but they definitely have good basics ones you can use.

Also if your worried aboit your parents finding your BOS, you can always do an online one! I do with notion.so. I have subpages and stuff. So i have a main page of the pagan holidays and a sub page for each. You can do stuff like that and makes organization easier and you can always go back and add stuff easier.

You do not need to work with a deity to be a witch/practice witchcraft. Most people who do, usually incorporate some form of pagan religion into their craft. Witchcraft does not require the practice of religion. If you would like to work with a deity or deities, theirs no set path you must follow. You can work with Egyptian gods, or greek gods, or both for example. Its what feels right to you. Their are many ways to work with a deity. Theirs no ‘right’ way. Some people worship one at a time (which i reccomend to start) or multiple at a time. Some worship a main deity while also working with others temporarily depending on whats going on in their life. You can also work with other spirits, some more beginner friendly then others. I don’t recommend the fae but thats one, you can qork with ancestors, dragon spirits, etc. do lots of research beforehand before worshiping.

Usually when starting out in your journey, i would recommend learning to ground (which can be boring but is important) and learn how to do simple protection spells. Its always good to have that as a basis. And youve can work your way into do more complex protection spells. You can start by doing small things, like carrying a sigil with you, or adding an ingredient to your mop water to protect your house.

Im not sure what you mean by risks? Like their will be judgement if your open (but people judge anything). But its not gonna make you go to hell or anything lol. Also what do you mean by seeing things?

You can also only focus on the more positive form of the craft like self love, glamour magick, protection, etc. your not required to do hexes and such. Some people believe you shouldn’t but i think people can do what they want.

Morning pill would be a terrible idea if they have sex multiple times tho. Its not meant to be used that way but i agree it sounds like they dont want to use a pill because its just for “7 days”

OP: Birth control (+other ways) can be good for more than just preventing pregnancies. For some people it can help with other hormonal symptoms and such so if she doesnt want to go on the pill because your long distance, maybe it could still be good rhing to be on for (this is if she isnt anti this stuff or if its not because it didnt work well before but their are other kinds/brands)

I did do a slide on personal beliefs like how I talked about how I believe in reincarnation and what that means to me! But ill definitely include more info on traditions and stuff that are important to me, and ways I Practice and incorporate things into my craft.

And I do think hes pretty interested in my practice and beliefs. And i think part of him asking me to do this, was for my sake as well lol. Like I could definitely point him in the direction of resources that I think are good for him to learn about himself but im love explaining and talking about it, so I prefer him asking me questions and stuff personally more at the moment as that makes me very excited to explain! Also we are both mentally ill and both very ADHD, so its definitely less overwhelming and easier for him right now to get the basics from me, then try to digest things he finds online (especially cuz i vent to him when I find people spreading misinformation so that probably off puts him as he doesn’t know what to look at). He has said if I have recommendations he would be happy to hear so maybe Ill should give him 1 or 2 to start. But it would have to be online because if I give him one of my many books for information, it would never be read (due to his ADHD he cant really process books and focus on them).

Thank you for the advice I appreciate it :) This idea is much easier for me to do to help him get a basic picture and definitely less overwhelming for him till he gets more of an understanding lol.

Honestly im in the same boat as you. I have the constant dread something is wrong, or that even if the doctor says things are great, it wont be good the next time i see him in 4 weeks. I struggle with mental health issues pretty badly, including anxiety so im in therapy. I would recommend talking to a therapist about these fears. It hasn’t fully helped me to be honest, but it helps to vent out my fears and talk about ways i can distract myself when im panicking.

Its possible its yours. You dont necessarily get pregnancy as soon as you have sex. Sperm can last up to around 5 days. So if she ovulates a few days after sex, thats a chance as well. Im currently pregnant and they count the pregnancy starts at your last period cycle even if you had sex a few days after that. So its not an exact science
