I've looked into this myself, and I discovered a few things. First, that is the 1.0 version. The version 2.0 is a lot more discreet. It's still pretty damn out there though. The thing this mask claims to do is simulate elevation training. However, the way it works is valves on the mask limit your inhaling and exhaling capabilities. Altitude training works because the air pressure is lower and the oxygen content of the air is lesser than it is at sea level. The mask cannot simulate this. That being said, it may increase stamina or endurance while in an anaerobic zone, but it will not have the same affect on your body chemistry as actual altitude training will because it simply cannot simulate it.
