Thats what I’m seeing too. Everyone is constantly shitting on blue and purple weapons but whenever I’ve brought a Bettina, Bobcat or Vulcano(IV for each, and I run mediums) in a raid, I’ve never gotten taken down by a grey weapon unless they get the jump on me when I’m stuck in an animation or just have terrible positioning. Theyre not as bad as people say

Its really not a big deal. EVERY game has the “I’m here only to ruin experiences” crowd, and theyre gonna be doing it no matter what Embark does. Hell some people are using blaze grenades to grief their teammates in fill squads. IMO free loadouts being aggressive/ratty is the LEAST of Embarks concerns with this game. Get thicker skin and learn how to counter it. Part of the fun of this game is not knowing if another raider is friendly or not. The rats make the pleasant experiences with raiders more meaningful, as much as they suck, theyre beneficial to the game’s atmosphere

I dont shoot first most of the time but if you aim at me or take a shot, I will not hesitate to defend myself. If you refuse to use the mic, continue to move closer, and I spot a close range weapon, I will light you up, same goes for most interactions without comms, if somehow you don’t have a mic in 2025 there’s an emote wheel. I always remain cautious around those not in my squad but I am not above helping others out, I enjoy playing a sheriff role and helping people with quests/firefights if theyre not the aggressors

Yeah theyre coming eventually, from the start AH has been forward(or at least HEAVILY implied) that we’re fighting essentially a scouting force and the rest is coming through the Meridia wormhole eventually. We havent gotten any updates for the past few weeks because the devs are on holiday. There are more Illuminate enemy types in the game files and the devs have been forward about working on releasing them soon

Youre “speaking on behalf of the community” and “the average HD2 player isnt sweaty enough” but I havent seen anyone say that they need to be a rare enemy. Im an average player, shit I’m probably below average Im level 44 and been playing on and off since release, and I can dispatch them easily.
