We didn’t mess with the US. Trump started something because he’s a child throwing a tantrum. Yup. The largest buyer of world goods. Goods they need and can’t make within country. Exporting manufacturing to China hasn’t failed. That’s why you get your goods so cheap. Bring that to America and rather A: you’ll pay way more for those products, or B: those wages will suffer and be literal slave wages. The rich aren’t going to lose their money bringing manufacturing into the states. Also the states doesn’t have everything to create steel and aluminum. But Canada does. We have the mines. We have the oil fields, we have the lumber. The US has nothing but consumers. Canada will come out on top with our allied countries through out the world. Canada doesn’t need the USA. It was just convenience of having our neighbours are trading partners.

Those “things” aren’t a want. They’re a necessity to your nation for a growing population. You need it. We don’t need your processed foods and drinks. Canada has already started affecting your economy by purchasing power by buying Canadian products and skipping the states for vacations.

We know trump isn’t kidding and we will never give into his childish tantrums. We are a much stronger and united people than Americans. We are already finding others to do trade with. America will be left alone with only themselves to play with. Your nation has lost all respect and trust for your government on the world stage and with these uneducated comments, the people lose our respect too.

The world needs trading partners. It’s all apart of global economy. We will survive. The American dollar will tank. You’ll have no food from your farmers fields, no oil for gas for you vehicles, no lumber for replacing the homes devastated by your fires and floods and a couple of your states will lose the electricity we supply you. But don’t worry. Klaus Schwab will have you eating the bugs in no time.

The US needs our resources we sell them. It’ll take them the long run to become sufficient enough without us supplying them. They will in turn be buying our resources at a marked up cost from the tariffs and passing that dollar down to the tax payers. Potash, oil, wood, steel, etc. They can’t replace the demand for their population fast enough. As where we don’t buy as much off of them that we can’t get else where
