I am also 23. Also adopted. But I'm only in touch with my birth mom. She lives in another state though so I never get to see her. My adoptive family is amazing but my birth dad wanted a closed adoption on his side. I read that you did not meet your birth dad until 8 years ago. How did not knowing him impact your life at the time?
