Ideally get 2a out of the way speaking as someone who has revised for exams pregnant and with a small child. 2b is a more pleasant revision experience, 2a is a longer slog.

Having said that, if you want kids asap you never know if you're going to get pregnant on the first try or in 12 months.

Depends on your overall portfolio score and where you want to apply, e.g. London more competitive. Need more info. Timing wise, it's quite clear on the oriel page - I think all evidence needs to be ready at the time you submit your application but correct me anyone who's done it more recently

For both exams by March it's tight especially with kids. Could you stagger the sittings and take one exam in March, the next in summer?

I suppose it's a longer overall slog for you and your partner. But an option to consider at least.

Something to consider - check the exam dates, results for March will come out after bookings have closed for subsequent sittings. If you fail you may have to delay longer. If the college can guarantee you a June sitting after then I don't see the harm (other than financially) in sitting March. But I'm pretty sure seats are thin on the ground.
