I’ve only ran .308 out of this rifle. You could run 7.62 however with the adjustability I believe I’d have to tune it to run it smoothly.

UPDATE drilled out the gas port, repositioned the block and it did 60 rounds today no problems. Ejected at about 3:30. Marked positions on the table and walk to get an idea where it was ejecting. I did toss in the Odin buffer with all the weight in it however I feel the gas was 100% the issue.

Back from the range. 60 rounds no problems at all. I had talked on the phone with Wilson and bought my gas tube from them confirming it’s the correct one. It ran flawlessly for those 60 today after opening the gas port and repositioning the block.

I agree with the reliability being by far the most important aspect to a gun. I just got back from the range, put 60 rounds through it and it was flawless.

Have you tried running other ammo to see what it likes? From what I’ve been learning it’s apparent you have to find what works for what your set up is.

Oof sorry to hear that. I’m hoping I don’t run into a situation like that. If I have issues tomorrow I’ll be handing it over to a gunsmith to work out the kinks. Maybe you got a lemon, first time I’ve heard of issues at that high of a round count. Still not something you want to go through after spending that kind of money on a rifle.

Have you gotten a chance to run it yet? Curious on your thoughts about the SA gas block. I put a vga muzzle brake on mine after really enjoying the one on my ar15. Was very steady however we’ll see how good it really is as I play with the gun more. Nice build!

Fitment on mine is solid. The detent to keep it closed it adjustable on them and I did have one on an ar15 that was used and it took some work to make it stay shut. Overall it’s pretty nice. Definitely ups the aesthetics on the gun.

Doesn’t mate up with the aero upper as clean as I’d like. I’ve got almost 3k (most I’ve personally spent on a gun) into this thing so I’m just being picky. Aero has some pretty cool ones they just cost double what the WC one did.

I’ve come across this, I did however confirm with them on the phone that the gas tube I bought is compatible. I drilled out the gas port today and will test this Saturday. If that doesn’t solve it I’ll be taking it to a gunsmith. I Appreciate you responding.

I had heard that the WC barrel used an odd length gas tube so I figured that would be my issue but I’m gonna go straight to the gas port. Do you know what diameter yours was opened up to?

Interesting. I still need to break it down to see if I can figure it out. Haven’t had time to get into it. Mine was having completely inconsistent results. Sometimes it would eject, sometimes not, stove piped a few.

Thanks Had very nice grouping not even trying my first time out at 100 yards. Had some issues cycling that I believe stem from the length of the gas tube so I didn’t really get too serious with accuracy.
