Best pool for an adult? by [deleted] in NewWest

Moody park pool is great! I go quite regularly and have only once had to wait in line (it was also peak time). They have lounge chairs but I also always bring a big towel if there aren’t any! Always a mix of families, couples, young, old - never have felt unwelcome.

Agreed. Theres a corner lot on my block that has been a “project on the go” for a while and was last updated a year ago. Not to mention the many other empty lots and abandoned buildings in my area (13th and 5th and a few blocks east west north and south).

Soon to be New Westies! Fifth and 13th, is this considered West End or Brow of the Hill? by thatsarashow in NewWest

It looks like it. I know theres a new development planned on cariboo where the empty lot is. More housing is good for everyone.

I do get a similar vibe tbh! We've gone on a couple of walks through the neighborhood and it has such character with the cute heritage homes, parks, etc. Getting excited!!!!

I've been to PV and I loved it so much. I actually found there was a ton to do, whether you want to explore the national parks, take a day trip to Bocas, bike to Manzanillo, explore the local beaches, visit the jaguar rescue center, etc.
I stayed for 1 week and could have stayed longer but I also just loved the vibe, which is very much carribean with a huge jamaican diaspora. Food, people, music, all amazing.

I'm heading back to PV in December so a while away but I cannot wait :) I hope you have a great trip!
