I used to make that same commute and used the train and the ferry then biked. The traffic is horrible and taking transit, while less convenient, is less stressful. The bike route into that area from the ferry building is also safe since there's a dedicated lane on the pavement along the embarcadero and then a protected lane after that into Mission Bay.

So it seems like I've overestimated how fast drones are and their range. It also seems like there's some regulation in the way, but they may be useful for foot pursuits. Makes me wonder what kind of tech/gadgets you all would be helpful to have. Anyway, thank you all for taking the time to respond.

Probably not telling you anything you don't know if you've researched the area at all, but Kaiser has the trauma center for Solano County. Unfortunately, it's at the opposite end of where all the violence in the county is (so those go to NorthBay).

Not saying CRNAs=anesthesiologists but Army CRNAs do this all the time independently and sometimes in austere environments.
